I was going to write this review a few days ago, but after my experiance yesterday Im glad I waited.
We have been registered on Tesco.com for a year or two now, it appealed to us as we dont drive and we have 3 young children, so shopping was simple.
Doing your online grocery shop is easy. You can either type out your shopping list, then browse through the specific products you require, or you can browse departments or barnds and go through special offers to add things to your basket. There is a delivery charge, which can range from anything from £3.50 to £6. Once your shopping is delivered, you check your list, sometimes if a product is out of stock, they make substitutions and try and match your missing item with something similar.
Last month when I received my shopping, after the delivery driver had gone I noticed we were a few bags short, all our frozen goods! I spent 5 days constantly on the phone trying to arrange for delivery of my frozen food!
Then I had a slot booked between 11am, and 1pm yesterday. At 1.10, I phoned customer services to see where my shopping was, and was told the driver was running 75 minutes late! After rearranging delivery for today, I went downstairs to see a Tesco delivery man with my shopping!! He told me he would sort the problem out and get my re arranged delivery sorted, and dropped off my shopping. Then today, I had another Tesco delivery man on my doorstep! Nobody had cancelled my rearranged delivery, and it turned up, and they have charged us twice! So on the phone again I was, and hoping they sort it pretty quick!
Reading other reviews, it seems to be pretty common that Tesco delivery is going downhill, which is a shame as it is a very good idea and is used a lot.
