I shop online with Tesco once a week on average. The delivery charge is around £5 and I have found that a delivery slot within 24 hours is usually available. Each delivery slot is 2 hours long and your groceries should be delivered within this time.

For me, the main advantage of shopping online is the savings I make not getting distracted by items I don't need instore! I have found that whereas I used to spend approximately £70 on our weekly shop, I now spend around £50.00. Even factoring in the delivery charge, this is a pretty decent saving!

The website is well set out and easy to navigate. You can search for an item or shop by aisle. Once your details have been entered, details of your previous shops will be recorded, meaning that you can easily find the items you buy on a regular basis. All special offers are set out in a separate section, as well as being included in the "aisles" so that you can searh through these easily, as required.

My weekly shopping can take as much as an hour and a half to complete online. However, this is purely because I ensure that I am buying the products that are the best value, which can be quite time consuming.

If you want alternatives for any products, in the event that your chosen product is out of stock, you can make a note on your online application. It is important that this is done. I once neglected to do this and the 10 bottles of wine I had ordered for a party that night were out of stock and I wasn't given any alternatives!

Further, I have been given alternatives for items which are out of stock and the alternatives always seem to be more expensive!

However, if you are unhappy with any of your items, the driver wll be happy to take them back to Tesco for you and arrange a replacement or refund.

I like buying my shopping online because it is convenient and saves me money. Don't forget the savings on petrol you make too!
