Advantages: Service quick, gets delivered to your door, site easy to use

Disadvantages: Some items ordered may have sold out.

Whenever I visit my local Tesco it is always busy there are always queues and at the end of a long hard day there is nothing worse than having to go into Tesco. That is why we prefer to order our shopping online.

The Tesco site is really easy to use. It does take some planning of meals so that you know what you are getting, whereas in the actual supermarket you have the luxury of seeing things and being able to put it into your trolley. The idea is the same except you have to think what you need.

Searching any item is really easy on this website, the more information you can put in the better. Depending on how much shopping you need it only takes us 15 minutes from start to finish.

Once you have ordered what items that you want or need you can then continue to go to the checkout. The disadvantage of the checkout is if there are any deals going i.e. 2 for 1 it does not show the deals on the checkout. You can then enter any voucher codes that you have or any Tesco Clubcard vouchers using the 16 digit code on the voucher.

You then proceed to pay and you enter your card details in, bearing in mind the total is temporary as all your offers do not show up but they do on the final invoice that the delivery driver gives you.

Delivery in my opinion is not cheap its about £3-7 depending on when you chose your delivery slot, it is more expensive if you choose a peak slot. My experience of the delivery service is excellent they always delivery within the time slot I have chosen and it is normally the earlier times. I have often been phoned before my delivery slot to ask if they can come early.

The service is always excellent and the driver very friendly and helpful. I have often been helped with the heavy boxes. There may be times that they have to swap a product if one is out of stock, but you have the choice to accept it or reject it. Then you sign off that you are happy and you unpack it.

I will recommend this site it is really convenient but I would say that it depends on your area on when your food gets delivered and the service but I haven't had any problems.
