My review is based on using the Tesco.com website for grocery shopping.

When house-sitting at a friends house a few months ago I decided that it'd be far more convenient to get my shopping done online and have it delivered once I was there.

I visited Google & did a couple of searches for Tesco coupons, I obtained free delivery & 1000 extra Clubcard points for my first order online so was very impressed indeed.

The online site is very easy to use, you can either search for goods in the toolbar provided or you can visit by section i.e. bakery, medicines etc.

On the main shopping homepage you will see offers and all of the different sections available, it was great to see all of the offers online on one page to save me trawling through section by section to see what bargains could be had.

I found it pretty quick to find all the items I wanted & needed & then some items that I didn't need but which were at bargain prices.

The main great thing about doing it all online was that I could log back in later and add things to it if I wanted to.

Once finished I picked a 2 hour slot for the next day (a Saturday) and then paid by debit card for the order & provided my Clubcard details.

The next day we awaited our shopping which arrived in the first 15 minutes of the allotted two hour time schedule. The goods were refrigerated well and the freezer stuff was still frozen. There were two substitutions which we chose to keep (it was ice cream and I just needed some ice cream I wasn't bothered what kind it was really!), all in all I was very happy with the driver he was very polite and it was all provided in green baskets as I had opted for no bags with my delivery.

It took no more than 3 minutes to empty all my shopping out and then the driver was off on his way again.

I had no problems what so ever with the sell by dates on any of the items and the substitutions sent, whilst more expensive, were fine for what I wanted them for.

I would definitely recommend this service, we ordered about £75 worth of food and it was all delicious, I cooked over a weeks fresh meals with that and we had dessert every night as well as packed lunches for work and food for the pets that we were looking after.

I received 1,081 clubcard points in total (1000 bonus, 75 for spending £75 and 6 for lack of carrier bag use).

The service was very easy to use, minimal information require to register and we were not charged for our goods until the next working day after the delivery was received, meaning that if we had rejected the substitutions provided we would not have been charged for them.

I would definitely use this service again without hesitation.

I have given four stars as the only two items I'd specifically chosen with myself in mind were both out of stock so I was a little upset!

Summary: I would highly recommend Tesco.com, let them deliver your shopping to you.
