Advantages: just sit back and the shopping appears!

Disadvantages: not being abole to pick qualitly of fresh food

Since they are digging up the A1(M) for the next couple of years, adding time on to my trip to tesco I decided to try tesco direct instead.

The website is very clumsy, its quite hard to find what you want the first time, the have so many product that its divided into categories but tesco and I differ in opinion as to where some items should be. Second time around they save things you buy so you can go to the list and pick from there. They have a special page for all the special offers they are running, but this isn't included in the running cost on your shopping list (appears on the side so you can see how much you've spent and on what) making it harder to stick to a budget. It would also be nice if they only showed offers that were on for the delivery date you've picked.

The search function is very unforgiving of spelling mistakes and isn't always very helpful. They have a huge range of delivery time in 2hour slots ranging in price form £5.50 to £3

It very easy to add or remove things after you've finished shopping up till 10pm the day before delivery. You can pick bag less delivery to get the green points. And they will take away any bags for you at the end. The driver drops the boxes at your front door, and you have to take everything inside yourself, the boxes are never packed to full so aren't very heavy. The fist time they explain everything very clearly to you, and the bill is easy to understand, substitutions have always been sensible. If they are going to be late they call and let you know.
