Tesco offer an online version of their shopping experience at tesco.com, offering delivery of their groceries. My local Tesco store is very large and unfortunately the range of selection is not available online (for example the extra departments that my Tesco has). As far as I am aware full grocery range is available and there has never been something that I can find it store but not online.

Price of delivery varies as to how popular the slot you are looking at is. For example Friday evening when everyone wants their shopping to be delivered in time for the weekend is much more expensive than one of the midweek midday ones. Price also varies as to how far in advance you book up, the later you leave it the less slots are available and the more expensive they get, this is especially important in the run up to holiday periods especially Christmas.

When shopping on Tesco online you can search by product name, or you can browse aisles in shops or go through the special offers. If you search for a product when it comes up it tells you if its on special offer. It is worth noting here that it has to be on special offer on your delivery day for it to be valid. For example you might be shopping a few days before your delivery day and something could be on special offer, but it may have run out before your delivery day in which case it wont count.

Searching for items by product name is easy the vast majority of the time. However there are occassions where the name you think it is called may not match the exact name or spelling that Tesco have it down as, this requires a bit extra work and can be frsutrating, but this is only in very few cases.

In summary I think shopping at Tesco.com is great. I have never had a late delivery or unsatisfactory products. If something is out of stock the driver offers you a replacement which it is easy to accept or reject. It definitely saves the hassle of a chaotic store!
