Since selling the household car and all the major Tesco supermarkets being outside of the city we live we needed to come up with a solution which didnt involve traying to get our monthly shopping home via two buses which was just a complete pain.

I had previously used Tesco's online shopping before but my wife was very reluctant but she decided to give it a go. We found the whole experience actually quite enjoyable because not only are you doing your entire shopping from the comfort of your own sofa, you are not getting crashed into by wayward shopping trolleys, having to queue for hours waiting for someone to count out the 2p's in their purse to pay for the shopping or if like me you live in Leicester having to put up with the frankly quite rude staff.

We began the shopping order with about a week before we got paid and the great thing about this website is that it saves your order until you are actually ready to process it, so you can just keep adding. Plus it gives regular updates on the offers and extra club card points items which is a real bonus if you are shopping on a limited budget.

The choice of products is vast and it makes it easier in my opinion to do your shopping and save money, because you are buying what you need as opposed to wandering round a normal supermarket and picking things up that you dont actually need, we all have been in the situation where you have gone to Tesco's with our shopping lists and when we get home you have the new Paulo Nutini album, A DVD player, a telephone extension cable and general other things you really had no intention of purchasing.

I think the best part of the website is how quickly you get your delivery, the last time we used it we had our order queued up ready to go and before we set off for work in the morning we processed the order and it was delievered at 8:30pm that evening. The price of the delivery varies between around £5 and £8 but it is dependent on what time you would like it delivered. The delivery times are very accurate, they give you a window of 2 hours and i have never had them come late which is a real credit to this service.

I think the main advantages to this service is the fact if you are trying to save money this will help, as you only buy what you need. My wife and I use it once a month and do a large shop and it has been saving us a good £50 a month as we are not going to the shops every week and buying things for the sake of it.
