Advantages: shop from home

Disadvantages: cant see the fresh items you want to buy so beware you may get imperfect items.

Tesco. com is a useful service for those who perhaps cant get to the shops,
I use this service as i do not drive and save endless trips to local shop or buggies full of shopping!

I registered online which is a very simple process and There is a helpline if you have any problems the phone number is 08450700811 they are happy to help with any enquiries.
There opening times are:

Monday - Friday 9am-11pm
Saturday 9am-8pm
Sunday 10am-6pm

Calls only cost 6p a minute.

They offer a Bagless delivery which is good for the environment but takes longer to unpack whilst the driver waits for the crates.

Plus this option you can earn your green clubcard points. The driver can also take away any bags you have for recycling.

If you are going on holiday you can have your shopping delivered to you anywhere in the uk which is handy so you don't waste valuable holiday time shopping.

You can change your order right up until 10pm the night before your shopping is due to be delivered.

As you shop online the total amount your spending is clearly shown and as you add items it comes up like a till receipt

I found it useful as i could check my cupboards and freezer as i shop to stop needless buying and my kids not asking for things on the way round :)

You can still get your buy one get one free offers online but you don't get the opportunity to buy reduced for sale items although discontinued items are online.

Delivery costs just 5.50 much cheaper than if you were to get a taxi!!!

If your a monthly shopper there will be no more worries about having to spend a whole day shopping and wondering if you can fit it in the car because someone else will wonder round choosing your chosen items bagging it up and bringing it to your door all you have to do is pay and put it away for just 5.50 lol!

The only down side is you can not see what fresh items you are getting so may have a short shelf life or be imperfect so beware of this.

The Drivers are polite help with any problems they can and most will help you if you have problems with taking products from the crates.
They also offer to send alternatives if the product you want is not in-store and match the price difference within reason but you do not have to accept the item and you will be refunded.

This is a great service and im sure helps many people like myself who have difficulties going shopping.

Summary: overall a good service
