Advantages: easy to use! quick! no crowds!

When i first decided to use Tesco.com to do my monthly shop, it was due to the fact I had been given a £5 off £50 voucher so I thought I'd make the most of it. The website itself is easy to navigate although I have found that finding a specific product can occassionally be a bit tricky as the search tool doesn't always find what your looking for!

That said, I still use tesco.com on a regular basis. firsty you get your usual tesco clubcard points (you just need to register your clubcard to the online shopping account!), theres always lots of codes flying around to save you even more money, all the special offers are clearly in one section for you to browse through, the drivers are polite and always on time, and it stops you going into tesco and buying things you didnt go in there for! This being because you have to physically search for the exact product on your list so your not walking past other goodies that tempt you and they get forgotten about! This in itself has saved me well over £60 this month! you really do notice the difference!

When you initally fill up your basket with loads of lovely offers, the total doesn't reflect these and doesn't do the deductions for you so if this bothers you, just keep a note of any savings and get your calculator out afterwards to give you a rough idea! these savings all get deducted when your shopping gets delivered and will be detailed on your receipt before tesco take the money from your bank account.

If something you've ordered isnt in stock, no fear, you will receive a substitute which is worth more than the original ordered item and the driver will point any of these out to you. you can accept the substitutes or reject them, which the driver will them take them off your bill and take them away with him/her.

One of my experiences was I order a hunk of lamb and a piece of pork, both of which I didn't want to weigh above 1.5kg. when my shopping arrived the pork came in at under 1.5kg and under the guide price i was given when i placed my order (saving!) but the lamb came in at 2.5kg!!!

In this case you can get the driver to take this off your bill and take it back with them.....i didnt notice the size of it until i had unpacked once the driver had left. I called tesco.com helpline and a lovely lady took some details off me, checked everything was as i said and told me to keep the lamb but that they would refund the difference in what i was actually charged and the guide price! excellent! Needless to say i was living off lamb for a week!!!

Summary: better than spending loads of money on things you didnt go out to get!
