We've used Tesco's online delivery service for a few years now. It was especially handy when our daughter was newborn because the grocery shop was the last thing we wanted to do but I wanted to make sure we still ate balanced, healthy meals and the house was full of goodies. ~~* Time Saver *~~ I first discovered that Tesco delivered a couple of years ago when my fiancés mum had a delivery while we were visiting. I was impressed by how quick the driver brought her shopping in to her, and how nice & fresh the food looked, so I decided to check it out myself and I've not looked back since! ...  Read the complete review

I avoided using Tesco online shopping for years as like everybody else I'd heard horror stories about waiting in all day for deliveries that never arrived, food that was all one day away from its sell by date and being given peach scented candles when you'd ordered peaches. Well, I wish I'd started doing it years ago, having ...  Read the complete review

WHY I SHOP MY GROCERIES ONLINE I started shopping for my groceries online after I shifted into an area where there's only a Local Sainsbury (too small for my needs), a Marks and Spencer food hall and a large Waitrose (not exactly the most friendly thing for your pockets). So far I've tried a few online supermarkets, including ...  Read the complete review

I am a huge fan of shopping for food online, it saves time and since I dont have a car it is a lot easier to get a big shop delivered. I am 8 1/2 months pregnant and decided to use Tesco.com for the first time. The ordering online was easy and free from the temptation of smells and treats so the saving I made was great. Sad to say that is where the positives finish. I had a delivery slot for 10 -12, I had an emergency appointment with my midwife and ...  Read the complete review

For a while now I had been in the really bad habit of purchasing whatever food I needed on the day I wanted to eat it. Express Review on tesco.com
by - written on 05/01/11
Rating:

Probably the worst service in the UK - our shopping is delivered by the Lichfield branch and it regularly (at least 14 times in a row) sends items out of date, meat that has gone brown and is more than 2 days out of date, fresh produce with mould on, bread with a day left on it, and after repeated attempts at sorting it out with the Team Leader Julia and Dot Com manager Tom Burnett, we have got nowhere, it's still happening, the lastest shop being delivered with mouldy strawberries and bacon 2 days out of date. We are now contacting trading standards and Tesco CEO after obtaining legal advice.

Living in an extremely small village with only a pub my local supermarket is three miles away and is only a co-op. There is nothing wrong with this shop but it isn't great for a full shop.
