Express Review on tesco.com

All I can say is don't do it!!
Last night mt daughter was due for a delivery between 8-10p.m. At 9.55 she got a call stating that they were sorry but the van had broke down so could they deliver this morning instead? She agreed. However, this morning she got a call from the bank stating that Tesco had taken cash out for yesterday and today as it is 2 separate orders and she has now been charged bank charges of £25! They have also failed to take off a £9 voucher which she inputted for last night and also charged her £6 delivery charge for today. She is a heavily pregnant young woman who is very tearful and now has no cash for half term as her savings although returned are now with the bank for 3-5 working days!!!! Don't do it!!!! Unless you have bags of money!!

Premium Review Tesco - Why didn't I have it delivered sooner !! (242 words)

I have used tesco delivery for the past three months and I find it to be brilliant. Much better than I could have ever expected. I think that it does depend largely on the area that you live in for there punctuality. I live in Berkshire and they have been on time every time. However I have a friend that lives in central London and they are late ...  Read the complete review

I was going to write this review a few days ago, but after my experiance yesterday Im glad I waited. We have been registered on Tesco.com for a year or two now, it appealed to us as we dont drive and we have 3 young children, so shopping was simple. Doing your online grocery shop is easy. You can either type out your shopping list, then ...  Read the complete review

Well i have been doing my food shopping online with tesco for over a year now and to be honest i have not really had a problem with them until my last shop i did. When you register with tesco.com it is a simple and easy process that does not take long. Once you've done this then you can start to look around their online store. ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review tesco.com: Tesco Online Farce (162 words)

I wouldnt recommend tesco.com for you online shopping. Delivery is a bit of a joke the delivery drivers tend to dribble when asking them a simple question about your shopping. You end up with half your shopping being Mrs Smiths from a million miles away and yeah you guessed it she has the other half of yours. So that great Spag Bol i planned for ...  Read the complete review

I usually do my shopping online with asda but have on a couple of occasions used Tesco. My main reason for not using it more is i find their site confusing and difficult to use. I dont find that the lay out is user friendly and i struggle to find what i want. I also find that My bill for tesco is always higher than asda . I know it depends on what ...  Read the complete review

I have been using tesco.com for a few weeks now , I decided to try them because my food bill has been going up and up and so I thought if I did my shopping online maybe that would get me to stick to a budget. The website is easy to navigate and you soon get the hang of it , on the right hand side it shows you what you have added to your basket. ...  Read the complete review

Finally in a fit of sudden tiredness.... er... I went and did an online shop at Tesco. Ok perhaps fatigue didn't exactly feature heavily in the decision, not wanting to endure the weekly shop did. So we set it up online and got shopping. not difficult to set it all up and after a bit of uncertainty about locating the types of things ...  Read the complete review

I use the Tesco's online grocery shopping site regularly. I am the person that makes sure the office is stocked with goodies to keep us all going - so i have to use it at least once a week. To begin you have to register on the site with your email address and then a password and you're set to go. On the whole the website is very easy to ...  Read the complete review

Stupid postcode rules (169 words)
by Lily Jamjar - written on 30/09/08
Rating:

What is really, really annoying that is that under Tesco's stupid postcode rules, our online shopping is selected from a branch that is many miles away, which is much smaller than the superstore nearer to our home. Therefore, not only does the delivery van have to travel several miles further, wasting fuel, but large numbers of the items we ...  Read the complete review

I have used Tesco online a couple times and think it's quite good. My husband is in the army and I can't drive so a few times when he has been away and I haven't been able to get to the shops as I have two small children, I chose to order from taco online. To be honest I probably prefer going to the actual shop as you can actually see what you're ...  Read the complete review

I have been using Tesco's online shopping service for about two years now and have never had any problems with it. I tend to use the service once a month to do a big shop and stock up on the bulky heavy items such as drinks and tins. My nearest Tesco store is approximately 12 miles from me so it warrants the delivery charge as it would cost me ...  Read the complete review

I've been shopping online with Tesco, on and off, for about 10 years, which I think was pretty much when they started. Back then we had no car, and pregnant with my son I was getting sick of lugging shopping up the steps to our first floor flat. (Yes, my partner did help, but even so.) Of course back then I was also very excited at the thought of ...  Read the complete review

Taken from my Ciao account, originally written in Nov 2007! I have somewhat mixed feelings on tesco.com online shopping as I've had both good and bad experiences with them. I decided to try online food shopping after numerous attempts of trying shopping with my 4 month old son and failing miserably!! I always find that there are never any trolleys that I can put my son's car seat on, as he is usually asleep when we arrive at the supermarket so if I take him out of the car seat to put him in the blue hard ones that ...  Read the complete review

Express Review on tesco.com

I was recently asked for id when buying alchol in one of your stores, however I did have id on me but you would not accept it as it was an Irish id card. Im over age and always carry this with me. I dont understand why you dont accept id that has your photo and date of birth on it unless it's British id. We are all part of the European Union and can even fly to countries just on photo id. So your basically saying that if you dont carry UK id then you wont get served, ridiculous!! My id card is a national Irish card that is given to you by the police when you turn 18, this is accepted every where bar Tesco. I find this abosolutly discusting for all owners who ask for id. All id's should be accepted!!!!!

Premium Review tesco.com: Tesco online...service not too bad (199 words)

I am a bit indecisive whether Tesco's give a good and bad online shopping service because I have good and bad experiences. They do not seem to have as much choice as other online supermarkers but their products seem to be better laid out and easier to choose rather than having to hunt down aisles looking for bargains and if you put in the search ...  Read the complete review

I would like to relay my experience on a recent tesco.com shopping order.
