TESCO DIRECT IS AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE!
I ordered a lap top and was told it would be delivered between 7am and 7 pm Friday 28/11/08. I explained that this was a delivery to my office and as I can not take 12 hours off, could they please deliver during working hours. Tesco said no, it's nothing to do with us we contract delivery out to a third party. Wrong! Subcontractors are your employees and represent Tesco. Guess what! Unreasonable as a 12 hour window delivery slot is, they didn't turn up. I got up at 4am to get to work by 7am and stayed till 7.30pm. I telephoned and was told, it's not coming today, mayby Monday, but we can't give you a time, be there 7 till 7 just in case we feel like delivering it. Wrong I cancelled, Tesco just lost £800. I'LL NEVER BUY FROM TESCO AGAIN>
