I give tesco direct no stars as i think their custormer service is so bad. I ordererd a seattle three draw t.v unit from tesco delivery fine on time like they said but when i opend my flat pack it was damaged on the top of the unit. there was not enough screws suplied the pieces of wood which i had to put togeter was not the right size so it was inposible to put together and the screw holes did not match up. i phoned tesco's customer service to be told that they could not offer me a replacement free of charge and that i would have to buy another unit to replace the one that was damaged and before they would pick up the other from myself. I was not excepting this and have told them that they have sent out my order which was not of merchanble quality and that i would be contacting trading standerd's and sending photo's. They said that they would not refund me for. For anybody who are thinking of ordering from tesco direct think again it may cost you more money than the product is worth in phone calls to retern and even then you will have a fight on your hands to get a replacement free of charge. i will never shop with tesco direct i think they are breaking the law with regards to not giveing you a full refund as i found out that they were only willing togive me half the money back the item was worth. Shame on you tesco your adverts say that you are cheaper than any other super market chain is this becouse you have anoyed so many of your custormers you have to lower your prices to get any customers to shop with you.
