You can find electronic items, house hold items and even groceries you can shop online for them at Tesco Direct.All with the advantage of picking up clubcard points plus using online codes to save even more on the website! All I wanted was a Samsun Fido + cylinder vacuum cleaner. Not hard seeing as how there's not many Samsun vacuums out there. Not only did they send the wrong one, but they then sent me the same wrong one the following day!! Really not handy when there is a house full of fleas and no hoover. I called up and said I don't trust them to send me the correct one so wanted a refund. They agreed which is their one redeeming factor.

I tend to do as much shopping as I can at Tesco, purely because I save the clubcard points. Before Tesco direct was set up, and certainly before I have heard of it the odd housey bits would be purchased at Woolworths, or Argos, or Ikea, if I could get there easily. Normally, when I need to buy something for the house, I would got to Argos, but when I wanted a new TV, I found out that they wouldn't deliver for up to 10 days, which I wasn't prepared to do. When they mean next day delivery, they actually mean the day after.
I've just got off the phone with Tesco Direct, as I ordered a camera yesterday before noon and paid £5 for it to be delivered today.
The camera didn't show up. When I spoke to a customer service adviser, she said the camera was still in the depot and hadn't been packed yet. This is after they sent me an email the previous evening to tell me the item had been dispatched and was out for delivery.
I'm now expecting to get this tomorrow.
I'll be avoiding Tesco Direct in future! £5 is a bit steep for two-day delivery!

I have used Tesco Direct for goods and groceries. For purchasing goods, at times there does need to be an appraisal of stock levels, when items become out of stock you can ask to be notified when they come back in stock, I have done this a few times, I got the emails always saying item has not been re-stocked. NEVER AGAIN. Ordered a TV with the sky package and was told the TV would be here on saturday between 7am - 7pm and so had to take the time off work (I dont get paid) and got a confirmation email they would be here between these times on that date. Well nothing arrived and I called customer services and was told it ad not even left the depot. Told me on the saturday they would email or call me on the sunday (nothing) caled them and they still dont know what is going on. Cant tell me when it is going to be delivered and when explained I took time of work they basically said tuff it was not there fault. NO REGARD FOR THERE CUSTOMERS AND SO WOULD RECOMMEND TO SHOP ELSEWERE. They are too big to care anymore about there customers.

We recently purchased a tumble dryer from Tesco, having searched all the other major suppliers web pages, we found that Tesco was on this occasion £40 cheaper than the other companies. And as a added bonus the item was delivered F.O.C. within two days, we were kept inform of the orders progress and the delivery driver phoned us to let us know exactly when the item would arrive at our home. We will use Tesco again, its just plain old fashioned shopping, when companies did what they advertised to do.
So well done to everyone involved and keep up the excellent work.

TESCO DIRECT IS AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE! I ordered a lap top and was told it would be delivered between 7am and 7 pm Friday 28/11/08. I explained that this was a delivery to my office and as I can not take 12 hours off, could they please deliver during working hours. Absolutely appalling delivery "service" ordered a fridge & was told it would arrive between 7am & 7pm today thurs, took a day off work only to be called by the courier driver at 6.30pm to say they can't deliver my item, excuses of delays at the depot. The driver didn't care and was more concerned that he would get home at midnight. my fridge went back to manchester even though the delivery van was in london i asked where he was and he said "I don't know London", he then said i have to wait a few days i was given no confirmation of another delivery time. I had defrosted my old fridge and took it out of the kitchen for collection. unbelievable attitude and Tesco Direct have still not given me a date of delivery, i'm being told monday at the earliest. will NEVER shop here again.

I despair with Tesco Direct.
I ordered via the internet and chose store collection and gave them a contact tel number.
I went to the store after the indicated delivery time but was told that my order was delayed by 24hrs - I was not happy as no-one phoned me on the contact number.
Received a phone call the following day that my order had arrived at the store. Went to collect it and guess what? The tesco direct counter closes at 8pm, even though it is a 24hrs store [it was 8.05pm when i arrived - hardly the middle of the night]
They lost a customer today, i will not shop with them again. A lack of communication and 2 wasted car journeys.
