The Shoe TailorNewest Review: ... called them for a catalogue, which came to my address OK. I liked some of the shoes and tried to place an order. They couldn't find my customer number on their files and couldn't locate me via my postcode either. Eventually the sales girl cut me off. When I called back to complain I was told a supervisor would call me back and sort out the problem. They never called back. I just wonder how good they would be at sorting out any aftersales problems! ... more |

I would not recommend The Shoe Tailor to anyone nor would I ever buy from them again. Over a year ago I ordered a pair of shoes from their catalogue and returned them immediately as they were HIDEOUS!
The company maintain they did not receive the shoes I returned and have been hounding me for payment (the shoes cost around £10!) and added monthly fees for non-payment. Their 'customer services' staff are rude, impertinent and behave like human Rottweilers. I wrote a formal complaint to their head office in Manchester which they also say they did not receive!! What rubbish! BEWARE of this 'company' !!

I knew what I wanted, but was having difficulty finding them. I had found a pair in a mail order catalogue that were almost what I wanted, but I was not 100% happy with them. I had seen Shoe Tailor advertised on the TV a few times, but had never been able to access their website. I decided to give it one last try and could not believe my luck when they had got just what I wanted. I ordered a free catalogue and measuring guide which arrived within a few days. ... The look of this site is very clean and feels tidy, the sections are easy to find off the main page. The site is all set out in a rectangle in the middle of the page, the top of the box has information about sizing, security, legal and you can request a catalogue. The middle section of the box has pictures showing some of the range they offer, below these is the range menu and another menu with woman’s wear, family and home, fresh ideas and financial services. The range menu is well made with a small menu inside each item. The item sections in the range menu (in other words the types of shoes they offer) is: - Smart - Casual - Boots - Slippers ...
