Advantages: CHEAP!

Disadvantages: Books go out of stock quickly, you are likely to overspend!

If you like books, then this is a site you have to visit!
The prices are amazing and the books geniunely ones you'd want to read.
The Book People is not a regular bookshop, but a kind of online bargain basement, but with the kind of bargains you'll want to look at and maybe even purchase!
I used to get their catalogue through the post and have switched to online buying. Best bargains include a set of 10 modern fiction books including Maeve Binchy for only £9.99, a saving of about £50!
The Book People is good for buying sets of books, especially if you have young children or want to buy books as presents for younger kids, as you can often pick up sets at way below publishers prices.....reductions of anything from £10 to £100!
The site is not the easiest to use or browse, and there's often the frustration of finding *just* what you want, only to discover it's sold out.
This site is probably best used if you want to buy books for a gift, or for yourself, but don't have a definite idea as to what exactly you want.
You can often get postage free if you spend a certain amount, and special discounts if you receive their online newsletter. There is also a loyalty system whereby with a certain number of points earned whenever you buy, you can earn free books.
Only problem? The temptation to spend spend spend!
