I joined the slammer affiliate program about six months ago.The way it was supposed to work was,you advertise their site on your website, and they pay 10% for any sales.Sounded good to me. When you make a sale, they email you to let you know. They give you a link to click on which takes you directly to your stats page.So far so good.In the months I was with them I sold £700 worth of hardware & software.A nice little earner for me of £70.Or so I thought. I tried emailing them to request a payment. No answer.I tried again and again but still the same. I then decided to ring their sales number.Constantly engaged. Here we go again thought I. Another rip off ... Read the complete review

I would like to warn anybody that is thinking of buying from this website, not to bother. Yes they offer free games, but they have debited my credit card over a month ago for the delivery fee, and the game still has not arrived when it was supposed to be here within a week! Also they offer to buy games back off you, so like a fool I packaged up one of my newish games that I don't play and sent it to the free post address stated. You are supposed to wait seven days then call them, where they will make you a cash offer for your game and send you a cheque. Surprise Surprise, they have not received my game! I admit that it was a bit ... Read the complete review

I have known about theslammer.com for some time now. I was drawn to their website by an advertisement stating that they give away free computer games. I thought I would check it out and find out what the catches were. FREE GAMES Sure enough, they do give away free games on the condition that you pay £2.99 for postage. I bought a few games from this 'free section' over several weeks as you are only allowed to purchase one per week. Within about one week after placing my orders I received my games which were retailing in the shops for approximately £20 so I was extremely pleased. RESELLER PROGRAMME When checking out the ... Theslammer.com has to be the worst online store I have ever been to, let alone the worst online gaming store. I have many a story to tell you about this supposedly 'excellent' gaming store. I first found this shop on the Internet when I was looking for places to pre-order a PlayStation 2. I found theslammer.com. They said I would get £30 off my PS2, AND that I would get it before Christmas. I got an e-mail from them later telling me about my order and that my PS2 would cost £300. Where had my £30 off gone?? Anyway, Xmas came....and went. No PS2. I e-mailed them, they said it would come late January. So January came....and went. Still ... Read the complete review

Ok second update and yes I need to re-write this op, but, until I do, do not use this site, I am still waiting for goods, where my credit card was debited two weeks ago, nobody answers the phone, is their something dodgy happening? UPDATE - Reviewer completely fed up with this site, they are so disorganised. The op has had bits added and a big gripe at the end. Please note, that due to the updates this opinion is not as smooth as usual. Do you drift restlessly through life looking for a bargain? Do you toss and turn wondering if today you missed the chance to pick up a steal? Well if you do, this is a site that you must check out. ... Read the complete review
