Advantages: Alot of concerts catered for.

Disadvantages: Too many people buy up all the tickets at once.

I have never really been one for wanting to go to concerts, but it seems the older that I get there is more concerts that I am interested in.

The first concert that I attended was a Lee Evans concert in Glasgow at the SECC, and this was just earlier this year. After my fiance mentioned that there was a concert in Glasgow, and it was in October I thought that it was a perfect present for my friends birthday.

I decided to look on Google for places that i could buy the tickets from and Ticket master popped up, so i thought that it was worth a try.

So what is Ticketmaster then? It is an online site that allows yu to have a look to see if there is any concerts in your area and if there is any tickets stil available, or if they are not released yet it gives you the dates of when tickets will be available. Once you have decided on what you want to see you can then buy your tickets on line at the same time, and the tickets then get sent to you by post.

I found that the site was really easy to use and it was very easy to search either by area or by artist that you wanted to see. I did find however that the site has quite a disadvantage to it and this was that when you go through each stage of purchasing the tickets you are only given a certain amount of time to input all of your data, and if you go over this time you then have to start all over again. Luckily i had all of my details to hand before i even started so i was ok.

I also found that there prices were very reasonable for there tickets, they are competitively priced too. Another disadvantage is that because of the very reasonable prices, what tends to happen is that people go on and buy as many as they can in one go and then sell them on for a profit. I think that Ticketmaster should have a limit on the amount that can be sold in one transaction so that everyone can have a chance to get some tickets.

I would reccommend to everyone to try this site to see if you can get a good deal for a concert ticket, while looking else where too.
