Advantages: Lots to choose from, informative website, fast delivery

Disadvantages: Special offer is a bit confusing

I wanted to buy some good quality and unusual tights for the upcoming Christmas festivities and I liked the range that tightsplease had to offer.

The site is well laid out with products separated into different categories down the left-hand side, so it's easy to find tights by type or colour. The range of tights is very good, but there are plenty of other things to tempt you to part with your money, such as basques, shapewear, skincare and even products for men.

On the homepage there is a selection of different items with pictures to give you an idea of what's on offer. Currently they are promoting the fact they sell tights that were featured on This Morning and I did end up buying a pair of these, but only because they were really nice and not because of the association with This Morning!

This site reminds me a bit of asos.com in that it really focuses on what the celebrities and catwalk models are wearing and offers the closest equivalent they can find so you can copy their look. This doesn't really interest me but it should appeal to budding fashionistas, as will the Street Style section which showcases the latest trends that average people on the street are wearing.

To be honest I don't know my Pamela Mann's from my Wolford's, but all the big name brands are here, so if you spot some tights in a fashion/celeb magazine then chances are you'll be able to find the exact ones or similar on tightsplease.

One section I found very confusing was the Special Offers page. It stated that:
"To receive your free pair of tights on our 3 for 2 offer please put 3 pairs into your basket. Our system will automatically deduct the price of the third pair. This way you get to choose the size and style you want".
It wasn't clear which tights were included in their 3 for 2 offer as the items on the Special Offers page only had discounts such as 10% off and half price. But adding 3 of these special offer tights to my basket didn't automatically update the price in my basket and neither did the 3 pairs of regular-priced tights I had already added to my basket so I'm not sure how it works.

However, I wasn't deterred from purchasing and I ordered a lovely pair of herringbone fishnets, a pair of fishnet stockings, a pair of purple tights and a Sloggi bra. There were loads of other things that I wanted to buy but I was good and restricted my spending!

The website shows exactly how many they have in stock of each item and whether the stock is limited or not. As well as a description of the item, there are also details about the materials, additional images, delivery and also reviews! There is also a helpful Size Guide so you should be able to order the right size for you.

On the website it states that delivery is free and items are usually dispatched at 10am the day after ordering. Delivery is estimated between certain days of the week, e.g. Fri to Mon, and will depend on when you place your order.

When you checkout there is the option to enter voucher codes so I was able to get 5% off with a voucher code I found. When you place an order they will also send you an email with a link to a website which has money off vouchers that can be spent at their sister sites:

The bra I ordered wasn't suitable for me so I had to return it within 14 days and this process was very simple. I logged into my account on the website and selected the item in my original order that I wanted to return. This logged my return request into their system and then I had to print out a page to be returned with the item. I had to pay the postage to return the item so luckily the bra was very light! My money was refunded into my bank account very quickly and without any fuss.

I am very happy with the fishnet tights and stockings I ordered, they're just what I expected from the photos on the website. I am still waiting for my purple tights as they are still on backorder, but tightsplease were very upfront about their stock levels so I knew I would have to wait when I ordered them.

Summary: Great range of tights and a whole lot more!
