Advantages: Easy to use, updated frequently.
Disadvantages: Delivery cost.
Topman is still fighting fit through the recession, as young people flock to it and spend their disposable income on the latest fashions.
I feel I have grown out of my love for Topman as of late but I cannot fault the website which is constantly updated and easy to use, even for a beginner of online shopping.
The clothing is set out into categories and you are able to glance through thumbnails of garments by clicking on each section. They have everything you would expect to find in stores, tees, polo shirts, jumpers, coats, jeans, suits, ties, underwear etc.
You are even able to store items in a wish list which you can revisit at a later time. It is simple to process a delivery but I must say it is quite expensive especially if you re only ordering a few light items.
One big plus of using the website is being able to order from the new collections which are not available in all stores. Although they are normally more expensive that the normal topman collection, you are safe in the knowledge that not many people will be wearing the same thing.
The website changes to improve the customers experience, at one point there was a feature that allowed you to pick from limited sizes that would soon run out..which was a great help for me with my skinny frame.
While great for Philip Green, I am now sick of seeing guys conform to wearing every single item with the Topman label. The introduction of Amplified tees and now Goodie Two sleeves ones aswell has left me a little downhearted as I always thought of them being rare finds but are now available for the masses.
That being said, I still have a glance onto the site for a new pair of jeans now and again.
Summary: Its quite a task not to spend all your wages here.
