I ordered a silver cross 3d pram and carseat from TWO LEFT FEET on the 2nd March 2009 totalling £322.00. I recieved an email saying the pram was not in stock and i wouldnt receive it till at the earliest mid April, this was not stated on the website otherwise i wouldnt of placed the order. As my baby is due the begining of April and i couldnt chance having no pram as i have 2 small children to take to school i asked them for a refund. They said i would receive a refund which i did not. Unable to speak to anyone in person and After sending them many emails which they ignored i finally received an email on friday 27th March saying they have gone into administration. I contacted my bank but as i paid with a debit card i am not protected so have now lost my money. My baby is due in 1 week, i am a lone parent and a student so i have a very low income, i have no pram or carseat for my baby, no money and havent a clue what i am going to do. I am totally devestated. I have had to click on a star for this review to go on but i do not give them a star.
there's definitely a theme here ... steer way clear of this company! yes their prices are good but their customer service is non-existent and will only reply to emails, although this seems to take them over a week. they never keep a promise, they never deliver the goods and when they promise a refund it doesn't come through. they don't appear to be even the slightest bit interested in customer loyalty! a company like this does not deserve to be allowed to continue trading. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
Two left feet have left us out of pocket by £750. We ordered a cot and other nursery goods in early Jan 09 and have yet to receive either goods or a refund. Despite phone calls, emails and even letters from our solicitor we have still had no response from the company. We have now contacted our bank who are going to dispute the payment and hopefully get our money back via chargeback. A thoroughly stressful experience, one we could have done without at a time when we should have been enjoying our new baby (who, incidently, still has no cot to move into when she out grows the moses basket we have borrowed in a couple of weeks). Also, to see two left feet blantantly posting their own favourable reviews on numerous sites is sickening. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. YOU WILL LOSE YOUR MONEY!!!

I bought a car seat online from Two Left Feet in November 08, and after chasing repeatedly (and was told each time that it would arrive by the end of the week) I eventually canceled my order in Jan 09. Two months later, after continually chasing, I still hadn't received a refund, and they stopped replying to my mails. After reporting them to Trading Standards, I discovered that I wasn't the first to do so: Aside from numerous poor reviews on various internet sites, I discovered that Watchdog investigated over 500 complaints about this retailer a little while ago. Clearly this situation hasn't improved.
So, I will now check out online retailers more carefully before I purchase. However, I'd like to offer two pieces of advice to anyone reading this
Firstly, don't use TLF.
Secondly, pay for any purchases over £100 with a credit card, as the credit card company is then jointly & individually liable. I did this, and got my money back from the credit card company within a couple of weeks (as opposed to the months I spent chasing TLF).

I ordered a travel system, car seat and nursery furniture (the latter Mamas and Papas) from Two Left Feet's extremely professional looking showroom in Bedford in October 2008 for a 4 week delivery. 9 weeks later the Mamas and Papas furniture had arrived perfectly but the rest was nowhere to be seen. I cancelled the remainder of my order beginning of January 2009 and now over 2 months later still haven't seen my money. They won't return calls or emails and although I've been promised a letter from the manager (how helpful- where's my £600 to feed my children and pay bills???) still have nothing from them. Two Left Feet are preying on a very vulnerable group of people who cannot afford to pay money for goods that never arrive- DON'T EVER USE THEM!! I wish I had done my research online before placing my order and am disgusted this company is still in business.
stay away from them! they took my money immediately from my credit card, then told me I'd have paid more for shipping cost. Then we decided to cancel the order, they should have given my money back in 30 days but....I haven't seen them since then!really stay away from them, they are only a bunch of thieves!
I can't believe Trading standards are allowing this company to continue trading. They should have been stopped long ago. If however like me you have only just found the bad reviews after ordering from them here is some advice.
Assuming you have paid for this item by credit card - DO NOT CANCEL YOUR ORDER. Contact your credit card company and ask for their advice. Virgin told me not to cancel my order as this means they will have a weak case against them. Instead I waited 30 days from my order date (and you will). This is considered a reasonable amount of time to get the order to you. I then checked two left feet hadn't despatched my order (of course they hadn't) and contacted virgin again. It took them just 7 days to recredit my account.
I'm not sure how the people working for this company sleep at night. It doesn't get much lower than targeting anxious expectant mothers but if you can avoid using this company and chose one that has been well reviewed.
I am disgusted with Two Left Feet!! I ordered a travel system 30 days ago and have sent three emails asking for confirmation of a delivery date-with no reply! Today I called them and they were rude to say the very least! There is no number to call to check on the progress of your delivery and apparently no supervisor or manager to complain to. The only contact they will accept is via email or letter....they won't reply though!! My baby is due next week and I am out of pocket and have no car seat or pram! DO NOT GIVE YOUR BUSINESS TO THIS UNSCRUPULOUS SHOP!!! There are companies who are just as reasonably priced. I have just found a local company who do exactly the same system for only £6 more, they deliver within 24 hours!! Please, please take heed and avoid two left feet, it's not worth the stress.
I really wished I'd read more reviews regarding www.twoleftfeet.co.uk, as I would never have placed an order with them in the first place. After 6 weeks of waiting for delivery of a child seat and writing 6 e-mails I've heard nothing from them. My advice to anyone is DO NOT buy from twoleftfeet.co.uk. Their after sales Customer service is non-existent. There are other stores equally as cheap and with proper customer service. They immediately took money from my credit card when the order was placed and which I am now getting my credit card issuer to recover. As with another reviewer I would have given them a zero start rating, they don't deserve a 1 star!
Exactly the same problem as everyone else - my wife, who is a registered childminder, ordered at beginning of Feb was promised order (£150 car seat) within 3-4 days, 1 month later finally got an email saying they are expecting stock in 10-14 days. Just not good enough. The never reply to emails, and are extremely rude on the telephone, will just keep repeating the "company line" that you have to email in to after sales, they cannot speak on the telephone.
Do NOT use this company, I have never dealt with any company like this before. I have written to cancel the order as per advice from Trading Standards and am awaiting their reply (ha ha).
To top it all, the MD of the company was on Watchdog today - they had over 500 complaints - and Two Left Feet have have set up a special email address - firstname.lastname@example.org. They have promised that emails sent here will be answered, but if they do or not remains to be seen. We are seriously thinking about also writing to Watchdog.
If we ever hear back from them, I shall update this review.
Just in case you were thinking the other 50 or so reviews were from people who have all recently been sacked by two left feet, let me confirm i have no grievance with TLF - that is prior to placing my order.I have waited for over 60 days for my order and nothing. I have now requested a refunded - good luck me hey??Never ever ever order from these people - they are - as my 3 year old son would say - "muppets".(I have given 1 star as i think you have to at least choose 1 - my actual review would be a big fat zero....)
I purchased a Tripp Trapp high chair from Two Left Feet which stated 2-4 weeks delivery on the website. The money was taken from my account immediately atfer purchase. After 4 weeks I then sent an e-mail as I had received no communication at all. I thought I should be patient as it states quite clearly on the website that there is no customer service phone line available and that once they have received the order to their warehouse then they will dispatch it. I did then e-mail customer service after 5 weeks and recieved an e-mail saying that it would be another 2 to 4 weeks. I then replied moaning about the service and didn't receive much of a reply. I did eventually receive the order which was correct but I wish they published realistic delivery dates on the website as I was expecting the order between 2-4 weeks not 6-8 weeks. As there as so many bad reviews about this company on the internet I am surprised they are not paying attention to this. If you don't mind a long wait and nowhere to go to find out what is happening with your order then go to Two Left Feet.
I am VERY disappointed with twoleftfeet. They don't take telephone calls for AfterSales which is frustrating and the emails they decide to answer are responded to within an estimated of 3 working days. Having paid for two car seats January 11th 2009. I find out it takes 30 working days for the order to be in their distribution centre to be dispatched. Fair enough - well now 31 working days on and the AfterSales team will let me know when they've received 'confirmed information'. There are two possible reasons for this shoddy attitude to customer service; either they are a poorly run company or second they're holding on to my money to keep administrators from their door. One thing I am sure of they won't be getting any further business from me in the future.
Similar to the experience of KJ, we order a buggy which turned out not to be available. There's no way to contact them other than email, which is utterly pointless as they don't respond to emails. I sent a letter to cancel the order and then more than 40 days later had to get the £160+ refunded through my credit card company as a chargeback.
The website would have you believe that they are a good company to deal with, customer focused and responsive to queries and complaints. The only time they want to know you is if you wish to place an order (the only contact numbers are for sales) and they will do whatever they can to hold on to your money indefinitely. They certainly do not comply with the distance selling regulations, despite the blather in their terms and conditions, and if you contact consumer direct or indeed check most review sites online you will know that they are known for their poor practises.
Caveat emptor - buyer beware!
