I even paid extra for it to go in First Class post. NB - 2nd class is standard, so beware! First Class is ALWAYS extra, they told me. So I waited. And I waited. And I waited a bit more. I realise there's a couple of rave opinions here...and it's a shame because I'm afraid I had an absolutely rotten experience with Special Reserve. NB Special Reserve trade under a LOT of different names...sorry to cause any confusion (thanks for pointing that out, offy!), including ukgames.com, ukpc.net, freeola.com, gameaday.co.uk and ukshopping.com. Their 'core' page is at www.specialreserve.net which has links to all of their shopping sites. In the run-up to Christmas I decided I wanted to get my brother a particular model of remote control car (he loves little gadgets like that). I phoned Special Reserve's customer ... Special Reserve is one special site, it has gone head to head with the countrys Gameplay. But Special Reserve isn't on Sky nor is it on our mobile phones, there is no flashy opener on their web site. Yet does this matter? Lets take the most important factor the prices. Gameplay's prices are good in a SALE. Meanwhile Special Reserves prices are utter brilliant! Pokemon Snap was £20 for ages you can get 3 Turok games for a mere £30 and Turok Rage Wars fo £6.99!!!! Also with free p&p that is excellently punctual. Now lets look at the sites. Their is no denying how smart Gameplays site looks but lets look at the content. Gameday.co.uk the greatest ... Read the complete review

UK Games = Special Reserve. Special Reserve = great! Ha! There’s no way I’m going to leave it like that, as a member there for 270days+ the inevitable has happened, and I am now sitting down about to tell you about one of the best online stores, and communities, on the web, so buckle up and read away. Hmmm, you see Special Reserve is different. It’s not your standard Amazon.co.uk – it’s more of a community, and that is what the internet has become, it’s no longer a tool, or something that you ‘surf’, it’s about meeting new people, discussing – having your say and basically porn, porn and more ... I first found UKGAMES.COM while looking through Special Reserve's club magazine. Special Reserve is a discount club, with stores all over the country, that supplies games, DVDs and PC hardware to thousands of people. Joining is £6, but this gets you a free gift (either a game or something else of your choice from a huge selection) and unlike other clubs, there is no requirement to buy anything again. In fact, this is more like a games shop than a club, with highly discounted prices on many games. UKGAMES is the internet side of the business, supplying the games and films and containing reviews by the company and many members who have submitted their own. ... Read the complete review
