I first used Viking Direct after getting a brochure sent through to my business address about ten years ago. One of my many duties at work is to order the stationary and my company orders this from Viking and has done for the last few years. Viking stocks every essential that you would need to get on with day to day work such as note pads and post it notes to screen cleaners, keyboard wrist rests and also tea and coffee which is of course absolute essential (at least for me the caffeine addict!). Viking direct are a simply hassle free way of buying everything you need for a small business. They sell everything from paper, printer supplies, packaging, office furniture, and many many more items. When shopping at Viking you can collect Nectar points and they normally give out 2 points for ever £1 spent. Also in addition to gaining Nectar points when buying you also get various offers though out the year. You get sent Monthly sale flyers wher the standard prices are reduced using the codes for the products in the flyers. Viking Direct are making my blood boil. I am taking them to the small claims court, they have £250 of my hard earned cash and I have no goods after waiting several months and making numerous phone calls! They even agree they have the money, it is not as if the cheque got lost in the post. I am a small business owner, who started my business just under 2 years ago. This review is for the stationery supplies company, Viking Direct. I used this company from 2002 until 2005 without problems, and have started to order from them recently. I have never seen a company plummet into such chaos in such a short space of time. They are now diabolical and almost without merit. Customer service, once their by-word has now collapsed, product delivery is all over the place, invoicing is entirely wrong and the company is now a pale shadow of what it was.
