Advantages: cheap

Disadvantages: they SCAM you by using your credit card details

Have used Vistaprint many times in the past and they have been great.

However, recently they are employing a SCAM.

Having got your credit card details they ask if you want to enroll in something called Vistaprint rewards (some sort of cheap deals).

Only afterwards do they say they are going to bill your credit card, unless you cancel. Needless to say it is impossible to cancel since you aren't told how to!!

Contact with the company is made impossible/ignored.

I have informed Cheshire Trading Standards AND the police AND my credit card company, but this is a BIG PAIN

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Summary: Having got your credit card details Vistaprint FRAUDULENTLY bill your card

Hi, may i suggest contacting them at www.vprewards.com or call 0845 026 1100 to cancel your membership and complain.

I bought business cards and it seemed i had ticked a box agreeing to sign up for a 30 day trail.. i was lucky to get an email which stated "VistaPrint Rewards will automatically charge a membership fee to your card at the end of your 30-day trial period and, unless you cancel. The fee will then be applied on a monthly basis at the then-current fee each new membership month". the email stated it ws from a 'Karen Heath' who is Membership Programme Director. I understand some people have been caught out as they did not receive the email and therefore couldnt cancel membership online or by phone.

I have been able to cancel my membership and ensure i dont get caught out.
I agree that the vistaprint site dont make it clear enough what you are agreeing to by ticking the box, and i think that passing on card details to another partner company should be stated and you should have to confirm this.

It simply doesnt make it clear enough what will happen. its more interested in advertising the benefits, like discounts at shops etc etc.

I hope the info helps you and it all gets sorted and you get back everything you are owed.

good luck :)

This is not correct.

Vista Print Rewards is an exclusive membership programme offered to customers of VistaPrint. The programme provides many discounts at a variety of well known retailers and service providers such as at M&S; John Lewis, B&Q and more.

The terms of the membership are clearly outlined at the point of offer. Memebers are requested to "check" the box to confirm that they have read the T&C's. in addition members are requested to input their email address twice and click the "I ACCEPT" box. Within a day a welcome email is sent detailing how they can access these details. Incidentally in this email it reminds members that the member will be billed after the free trial. Prior to billing a further email is sent out to remind members.

If members wish to cancel than we cancel without any questions. Cancellations can be done online.

We have thousands of content members and our experience is that members enjoy and take advantage of the discounts and benefits that are provided.

This is an interesting experience of yours; I've seen another similar (and largely incoherent) claim from another customer in the States.

However, my own experience shows me that they're not all bad.

I was given the opportunity to claim a £10 refund "Reward" after buying several sets of cards. I kept a copy of the "invitation" email and sent off my claim by post. The claim was rejected because I "had not signed up as a Rewards member". In fact, the system should have offered me a sign-up route - but hadn't. (Sometimes weblinks don't work like they should; it's not unknown).

Afte r 3 rounds of polite email conversations where I asserted the validity of my claim (and with a copy of the original Rewards invitation from Vistaprint) they - who are actually Adaptive Affinity Ltd - very pleasantly sent me a £10 cheque as a mark of goodwill.

I'm happy they're honest. Now - where do I go to sign up, finally?? :-)
