wellbeing is a new online health/cosmetic supply store, but much more...
I have ordered from them several times now, and I have found there service to be very good. I feel that I can trust this site.
The site is partly owned by Boots and Granada TV, and it's mainly Boots products and offers that your are buying. You can even get your Boot's advantage points here! Just fill in your card details when you register. Goodie!
There is a search function which is quite accurate, and everything is of course categorised. There is all the usual Boots promotions that you would expect, such as buy one get one free and additional boots points for buying specific items. There's even the free gift promotions, for when you buy the selected goods.
A lot of the time there is a problem with items being sold out, and you have to really examine the screen to see that this is the case. This is because when you place something in your shopping basket it just updates your total items/price. it doesn't show you your items, and a little sentence appears saying out of stock. I took a little while to realise this and thought the site wasn't working!
(Another problem is getting the site to open. I have had problems accessing the site quite often.)
The main reason for the lack of stock at the moment is that they have a "free postage and packing" promotion on until the end of the month (April). I'm not sure if that is just for registered members or not. The normal p&p rate is £2.50 for standard 2 day delivery service (although a couple of times it took longer than 2 days, even allowing for the weekend). There are more expensive options, such as next day delivery. Also you can check the progress of all of your orders online, until you receive them, they'll email you when they despatch your parcel as well as once they've got your order processed.
The site is large with a good variety of wares, and I found
it a whole lot better than the old Boots site. The last time I tried to shop there I found the stock was far too limited, basically the site was rubbish. So Wellbeing is a good way to go. There are so many more things to read on the site, it's not just shopping. You can get advice and information too.
When you receive your order you will get a voucher for the points that you've earned, and you'll need to take that to your Boots store the next time you're in town. They'll scan them into your account at the shop.
The parcel you receive is well packaged and neat looking. all goods are secure inside, and an extra special reason to recommend them is that, on top of all the promotions I took advantage of this week, they also included a free gift in my parcel. This was a complete surprise as there was no mention of it when I ordered. :)
The free gift was some "natural collection" strawberry heart bath pearls, in case you're interested :)
