I ordered a dishwasher via Whitebox.co.uk. They seemed a reputble company with a good and informative website I got an automated email promising delivery in 3 days and contact from them the next day. 2 weeks later nothing. No reply to email and 9-5 phone number? Not so much as recorded message but a BT call minder. They hadn't taken payment on my credit card so I cancelled it. Avoid Whitebox like the plague and stick to big names like Tesco for online appliance purchases I think ... I had a disappointing dealings with Powerhouse for a new washing machine so tried whitebox.co.uk after reading a favourable report in the Sunday Times and finding other sites expensive. The site was clear and well laid out and I found a suitable washing machine for £217. This was amongst the lowest prices I could find (within a couple of £)for similar machines, and pleasingly it included delivery so there were no hidden extras which you only usually find after wading through pages of order forms.
