http://www.woodentoytrains.co.uk has a good selection of stuff for wooden train sets. This is both from Brio, and from Flair/Learning Curve. Brio used to be the manufacturer for Thomas the Tank engine stuff, but the franchise for that has been taken over by Flair. The design of the WWW site is fine. Its easy to navigate has enough pictures to see what you're buying and it loads fairly quickly. I haven't tried ordering from them. The biggest downside are the prices. They are positively scary. An engine shed that is £6-7 at Tesco or Littlewoods Index is £20 here. Ikea has a more limited range of wooden train set stuff, but its prices are cheaper still. Its also worth looking out for this sort of thing second hand as a lot of it lasts a long time. Get your child's grandparents to bankroll purchases of the more expensive stuff!
