If you are into books then this is a site that’s worth checking out. I was sent an anonymous e-mail advertising this site, at first upset at sent more junk mail I decided to have a look. Now, I am glad I did.
However, do be patient as the site can take a while to load up but it’s worth waiting for.
The site has recently been re-designed to give it a brighter look, and it’s certainly worked. The site looks much neater, well organised and easy to browse. There’s quite a lot of things to visit on the site, so don’t worry if you get stuck on where to go to first.
On the site, you can buy book from best sellers to children’s books, read interviews from historians like Alison Weir to children books by Tony Parsons.
They regular have online competitions where you can win some very good book prizes, suitable for both children and adults. But, make sure you check out the special discount section where you can get some really good books at discount prices. Like the ‘Happy Days with the Naked Chef’ where you can save £5 I you order from this site.
Registering with the site is easy and all information is dealt with the upmost privacy, so too is security on the site. The site is well protected with the latest security.
The search engine is very good, and searching for books is quick and easy. Simply, put in the author or order code and select a category and wait for the results. You do need to be a member to use the search engine so do join up.
They also have a Pick of the Week, where you can check the best buy, this week is Steve Leonards ‘Ultimate Killers’ I don’t know whether anyone has been watching the TV series, but it’s been very good. You will save £4 I you order from this site.
Another good section is the ‘What’s Hot’ where you can check other selected books most of which are accompanied by interviews, so yo
u can read some information before you buy.
Overall this site is really good, very neatly organised and a good selection of books to chose from. I wouldn’t say its selection would earn the title as the world books site but it’s good nonetheless...
