Disadvantages: Rogues, scammers

This company are rogues. What they scam is that they get you to sign up with attractive prices but lock you in to buy expensive books for a long time.
They also say they send you books, or even say they have, when you have not ordered them. The get you to pay for them. They will not listen to you if you denie it.
We are currently fighting them and will take them to court!
Watch out.

Do not believe any thing they say, espeically delivery dates

Use Amazon instead.

It would ahve been good to find out what coice of books there is and what their prices are like but thanks for the warning anyway.

I never had this problem with world books, but what I did get was severe delays in an order that was meant to come for christmas and didn't arrive until 3 wks later. It was on offer to new customers at 1p, I paid nearly full price and the quality of the paper was so cheap and awful I felt ashamed giving it as a present. I had been a regular customer and this was exceptionally bad service. The reply from customer services was a standard letter that did not even relate to my complaint. I will never use them again.
