Advantages: easy to manage, making money
Disadvantages: posting fees
About four years ago, I became acquainted with Yahoo. It was the first web site that I logged onto. I became a member, and started using their email service and their auction, it was free to post a product. At that time, you didn't need a credit card to sell. Also, You had to post your auctions, one-by-one. I made some money that year, then I had to stop because of a family emergency , that took my attention away from the world wide web and yahoo for a good year. When I finally was able to go back to Yahoo, I notice that they had added some excellent auction tools to help the seller to manage their auctions more professionally and effectively: Event notification, blacklist, customize winning email, my Auction Booth, free listing days (They let you know a head of time), and bulk Loader, and much more. They now charge for posting and selling, and if you want to sell you need to have a valid credit card on file. Which, good thing for the bidder. Furthermore, I use their free email service, because of the tools that you can use: Notebook, phone book, calendar, and reminder, etc. I have not receive any pornography, which I am thankful for! It's like having an on-line mini auction office.

- 25/11/02 Not really into these online auctions, to be honest. Good to see that you seem happy enough, though. |
