MS Windows 7 Professional:
... Aero Peek allowed you to hover over a little button in the bottom left corner of your screen. This will cause all windows to go transparent and you can view your desktop. If you click, all windows will be minimised and you can go straight to your desktop. Overall Windows 7 is a fantastic user experience presenting a clean, compatible and user friendly operating system from Microsoft and is well worth the price.... MS Windows Vista Business ... Windows Vista is the successor to the Windows XP operating system and has been pre-installed and sold with millions of PCs and laptops. I ve been using Vista Business on my laptop simply because it came with it, but have also played around with the Home Premium and Ultimate flavours. Let me start by saying I hate it and it s no wonder they came out with Windows 7 so quickly since the Vista s launch. Windows XP seems to have been around for ages whereby Vista seems to only have had a shelf life of about 3-4 years, which says a lot about how unsuccessful it has been. I work in IT support and many people I know of who ve bought new machines with Vista pre-loade... Read the full review: Hasta la VISTA, Baby! by Deru |

MS Windows Vista Home Premium ... have used both XP, Vista and Windows 7. XP was a fairly good operating system, and at present is the standard for most homes and buisnesses. Vista is a resource hungry operating system, and there are no 2 ways about it. Doing nothing pushes RAM usage to about 30% or 40%, and CPU usage is never below 5%. Vista is a pretty, easy to use and reliable-ish system, but it is in no way efficient. I realise they have thier place and purpose, but mostly they are irritating. With the introduction of windows 7, you would be mad to buy this ope... MS Windows 7 Home Premium ... is easy, and it even keeps files and programs from Vista when upgrading. I have also been teaching a friend who has no previous experience with computers atall, and windows 7 makes it so easy. Regular use programs can be put on the quick launch bar, which is now fully integrated into the task bar. To full screen windows, just drag them to the top of the screen. For a half screen view, drag to one of the sides. To view just that window, shake the window you want to see and all others minimise. I would recommend this version of windows, as it contains everything you could ever need, and runs extremely quickly and reliably. Microsoft are back on form, and about time....
