Mandrake is like Redhat and is another RPM based operating system. It has all the same particular easy to use features. However, I like the system control panel better in mandrake. It seems to have more configurability and useablity and easy to understand for the non-vertern linux guy. mandrakes' choice of distro colors are more appealing to me then the ugly looking color scheme redhat has for their. mandrake prefers KDE as the default system GUI, but gnome can be used if so desired. I think mandrake is well suited for workstation or home use, and less on the server side of things.
