Advantages: style and it is fast

Disadvantages: double your normal hardware spec

Vista replaces XP operating system, it is the latest operating system from Microsoft. Vista is packaged in various formats for home user, business user etc.

I like Vista much more than other Microsoft operating systems.

Here are my reasons for liking it.

Vista is improved version of XP.
Best advantage I see is slick style. It has pleasant outlook. By this I mean visually pleasing to the eye.
Many of the old XP features are removed.
It loads faster and is more robust and works faster in installing software.
Microsoft has improved security on the system.
Internet Explorer 7 is mandatory on the system. XP supports it as well.
Features like Messenger don’t come with vista.
It loads much much faster than 2000 and faster than XP.

Things that may concern users of this operating system:

Hardware requirements. Need minimum of 500 MB memory for it to run reasonably. It needs higher spec of laptop or PC than XP did. I think you need to double what you have with XP for it to work.

People will not like different versions of the operating with basic ones lacking many of features that come with premium or business models.

I have not installed the operating system myself. I expect it to be easy.

I like Vista. I am happy to have bought a new laptop with it. Actually I had no choice of operating system when purchased but like I mentioned I like it a lot.

I recommend it because it is the best system so far from Microsoft.
