i have finally settled with vista (MS Windows Vista Ultimate)

hello and welcome to the best operating system going at the moment.

Now i really can say this in my opinion as i have tried a fair few diffrent operating systems. These include a few diffrent Microsoft ones as well as Linux.

After having Xp for a long time i upgraded to vista ultimate and it just gives your pc a facelift. If its an older pc then it loks great (be careful vista can be very hungry). I have used vista for qutie a while now and i lvoe some of the great features it has. It has very good ease of use as you can search on the simple old 'start' bar for anything you want. This will literally find anything on the pc with certain characters in it from folders to internet history! It makes it very easy to navigate and is probably my favourite addition to windows.

I did try ubuntu linux as i stated above and it wasnt to bad at first but i always did just miss windows. It was great having vista and everything was just compatible unlike any other operating system where it might actually require some googlnig to find the right software. With such a wide range of software available and so many pc's being microsoft the pull of vista is just too strong and i have given up on finding a better operating system.

Vista is great. It looks great and runs fantastic on my machine i would suggest this upgrade to anyone and with windows 7 around the corner thias might just be dirt cheap!
