Don’t be put off by thinking, as you don’t have to pay for software, it must be of low quality! You will be wrong in thinking this….there are programmers out here who like sharing their work with others for non-profit. Solaris is a sun Microsystems operating system. Its mainly aimed at users who are interested in software (patricianly java) design. Solaris is a fully functioning O.S, but may have some compatibility problems with various software. If you do buy solaris you will find the security is of a high and hassle free standard.
