What a OS (BeOS 5.0)

Advantages: The whole OS

Disadvantages: Windows/Linux/ OS2 etc

I started to get bored with Windows about a year ago and so went to Linux just to see what it was like. Within a month Linux was gone I hated it and couldn't stand it any more. I sat wondering what was next until I started to hear about BeOS and how it was going to be the next big thing.
They weren't wrong. It took 10 minutes to install it on it's own partition (despite the mag saying it wasn't possible) and from there I was off. It took 9 seconds to load fully and I was amazed. I started trying some of the software which which on the OS and I loved it. I started finding good websites which get me better software and with most of it free I was in love. Now it's just a case of getting £40 and buying the Pro version so that I then get realplayer as well but Windows doesn't get much of a look in nowadays. People are saying BeOS may be going bust because top companies won't stop using Windows but with new software coming out each day even if it does go under it won't stop me using it for a while yet especially with no other OS coming close.
