OS X, better than life!!! : ) (Mac OS X)

Mac OS X is a great way to show Microsoft it won't be mimicked again! With the UNIX/Free BDS core and the simple, graphical design interface, no wonder Mac OS X kicks butt! Microsoft will try to imitate looks with XP and already has, but Microsoft can never imitate stability. You hear Mr. William Gates III saying how stable Windows is, but it is really a pain to operate keeping Windows stable. Every time you install a program on Windows, it makes the computer less and less stable. WIth Apple's tight control on who can make stuff for Mac OS, and the specific guidelines Apple gives the software developers, programs on X are nice and stable. In my experince with OS X, I have enjoyed a stable system and appreciated the UNIX core. The dock is nice and tells you what apps are running and if you hold the mouse button on the image of the application running, you can get a menu asking to quit, keep the program in the dock and a couple other options. Don't worry about transitioning from Mac os 9 to X, it is easy to understand and if you need help, the extensive help menu gives you the answers you want! Hope this helps!
