Advantages: All we've got really

Disadvantages: really badly written

Microsoft have done really well. Not at producing top quality products or giving a good customer service (as they do neither of these in my opinion). They have done well at managing to make it almost impossible to run a computer without using their operating system (unless you really know what you are doing, which unfortunately most of us do not, including me, so are unable to use LINUX or whatever it’s called). There are so many really annoying things about Windows, including the fact that they make it very difficult to customise, and that it runs really awkwardly. Basically, after they persuaded a few large American companies to use it, for compatibility purposes, the rest of us now have to. I only recommend it to a friend because there is no good, easy to use alternative.
