Advantages: None wotsoeva..oh wow a little folder mangement program

Disadvantages: The list is endless 99.9% of software isnt compatible with it

This version of the Windows range has lowered Microsoft in my opinion; it is nothing but a collection of bugs, viruses, and illegal operations. It is wrong that this software should be released in the first place, let alone be placed on a new computer. It is only because Microsoft is Microsoft and Bill Gates is all-powerful, if this was any other company or any other operating system it wouldn’t have even left the shop factory floor let alone graced mine.

You would think that MICRSOFT Windows ME (i.e. 2000) would be fully compatible with MICOSOFT Office 2000, but know I have had major problems using the shortcut bar and opening publisher files, this is not a problem with office as it worked fine with my last 95 PC. You would also think that it would be good for the Internet using MICROSOFT Internet Explorer and MICROSOFT Network Messenger (MSN Messenger) but yet again no all of them worked fine on my last computer, but now they hang regularly, and do not respond. My computer now connects to the Internet on startup even though the option to connect to the Internet on startup is disabled.

But its your PC I hear you cry, but no its not my PC is a high spec brand new PC that is under countless warranties by PC World, its 800MHz processor fully functional and there is nothing wrong with any other components. The only problem is WINDOWS MILEENIUM EDITON.

I would advise any prospective purchasers of Windows ME to stick with 98 2nd Ed. It is reliable, tried and tested.
