Advantages: Good network features.....compared to 95

Disadvantages: Too much security

NT4 was given to me by a friend who found it mysteriously bundled with his new PC and he didn't need it. I've installed it several times on a dual boot system running along side Windows 95 and later 98 but now I fail to see what the point is.

I have a small three computer network in my bedroom which is basically just for internet connection sharing, network games and backing up files for when a PC needs a clean re-install.

As a home user I found that NT gave me more network features than 95 but having had Windows 98 installed for the past 2 years the advantages have totally disappeared. Just downloading a few freeware programmes from the web and installing them on 98 gives me better functionality than with NT and you don't have the irritating security warnings bothering you!
