Advantages: Does everything you need

Disadvantages: has its floors i.e crashing for no reason!!

We all have a little bit of a moan now and again about Windows but the majority of us use it and go back to it again and again.

Windows is so popular and most of the people who use computers tend to use it.

A lot of computers come with Windows as standard but you can buy it separately, however this is expensive.

Windows has many different features, most as standard and has games built in so you can play. It has an explorer so you can search the internet also. It is easy to navigate and has a very simple layout which can be changed to suit your needs.

Windows media player also comes with Windows, this allows you to play your music or watch videos either from your computer, cd or downloaded items.

I personally love windows and hate it. I would be lost without it but sometimes wish some things didn't happen, i.e. when your computer crashes without you saving your work!! Great when Microsoft office recovers it though.

There are several types of windows versions. The newest is Vista, and this one I have not had the pleasure of testing. For now I am happy with XP.

Overall, great operating systems with some technical flaws, as all things do. xx
