Ubuntu 8.04 LTS(Long Term Support) is a Great Open-Source Operating System which has been nowadays a rival of the most loved Windows. This release of Linux has got all it takes to stand in competition with Windows. It is provided free-of-charge to the users for their different and even commercial uses. Ubuntu starts faster than Windows, is very stable and supports a wide variety of free softwares for various uses. Nero has even developed a Linux Version of their burning software for use with Ubuntu. Web Browsers such as Mozilla Firefox and Opera can be used with Ubuntu, and it provides a safer web experience than Windows. Ubuntu also features the Flip-3D features, in which upto six desktops can be interchanged from one cube by a single wave of the mouse. This version of Ubuntu will receive updates till 2011 i.e, for three years without any interruption. Ubuntu is about to break into the market and you should get a copy of this free Operating System too. I use this too and I feel really great using it. Get your hands in it!
