I am terrible for seeing new things on the supermarket shelves and wanting to try them. I spotted Aquafreshes Extreme clean pure breath range whilst it was on offer at Asda for two items for £3.00 and it seemed like a good deal so I picked it up with some mouth wash.

The product is often selling at places like Tesco on a buy one get one free offer for £2.20 or a similar two for £3.00 offer at Asda.

The product is in a tube like any ordinary toothpaste once you get it out of the cardboard packaging. There is a screw top lid which I always find useful as you can stand the toothpaste up on the sink and it will rest on the large lid. Aquafreshe's large logo is prominent going down the tube and then it also says it is the extreme clean brand, whitening plus pure breath. It claims that when using this you will find 85% breath odour reduction immediately after brushing. To me all these things sounded good enough to me which is why I purchased it.

To use the toothpaste you need to unscrew the lid and squeeze a small amount on to your toothbrush. I always wet the toothpaste afterwards under the tap as I feel it aids brushing.

The toothpaste is white, red and blue like the majority of the Aquafresh toothpastes. The taste of the toothpaste is an incredibly strong minty flavour. When you are brushing your teeth the toothpaste foams well and immediately you can feel that your teeth and mouth feels clean. My mouth has never felt cleaner than after using this toothpaste and I think that is a lot to do with the strong flavour as my tongue, my lips, and my whole mouth just has the lingering of this flavour for quite some time after brushing. You know like when you chew airwaves gum and get that kind of clear feeling through your mouth and nose? Well for me this toothpaste has the same kind of effect!

I think this toothpaste suceeds in making my mouth feel fresh for a good portion of the day which is obviously important to me and the strong taste really does linger.

I would thoroughly recommend this toothpaste to people as long as you can stand the strong taste. My sister is quite sensitive to toothpastes and felt that it was much too strong for her but for me I think it is the best toothpaste out there for a clean and fresh feeling mouth.
