Aquafresh Ultimate Toothpaste - prices for 75 ml range from £1 to £2.39 so shop around

As with all Aquafresh toothpastes this one has the three distinctive strips - sold as fighting cavities, making breath smell fresh, and fighting plaque. The tube does come in a size that is smaller than many but for the package the product does seem to pack a nice enough punch.

It lathers well, and does not have that grainy feel that some toothpastes have (for me this is important as it strangely puts my teeth on edge, like fingernails on a blackboard)... The toothpaste is sold as being whitening, which now seems to be fairly standard in most toothpastes. I haven't notice any particulr difference however the tooth pastes that I always use are whitening so all the good that a toothpaste can do may have already been done.

This particular toothpaste is sold as strengthening your teeth above and below the gum line. It is supposed to bacteria and leave breath fresh. I can comment about how strong or not my teeth are however I can say that this toothpaste does leave my mouth feeling nice and minty fresh directly after use. The fresh feeling does last well and although the 'minty' of the breath does wear off but the freshness lasts really well.

This is one of my favourite toothpastes and although it may come in a slightly smaller tube than some others of a similar price it really does what it says it should.

Highly recommended.

Summary: It's a great toothpaste
