I always use whitening toothpaste. My normal brand used to be the Arm and Hammer Baking Soda Whitening toothpaste which I swore by. I had never tried the Beverly Hills Formula before, I think the name put me off for some reason - I imagined it to be one of those products that promises the earth but delivers nothing!
Anyway, I was in a local chemist one day and saw it sitting beside my normal brand at half the price. On impulse I decided to try it.
The packaging tells you that if you put the toothpaste on your teeth and leave it for one minute before you start brushing you will get fantastic results. So I tried it. And, I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised. I didn't suddenly have fantastically white teeth that where 5 shades lighter, but I did have a lovely, brighter, slightly whiter smile. And my teeth felt wonderfully clean. I'd say it was better than the brand I've used for years.
I'd definitely recommend giving it a go.
I decided to try another brand of toothpaste for a change and picked up a large (150ml) tube of this Beverly Hills Formula sensitive whitening toothpaste.
I bought my tube from Home Bargains and it seems I did get a bargain! The toothpaste comes in a box and is old style with a screw off lid. Luckily the lid is large so not fiddly and difficult to lose.
I paid 1.99 for my tube and it seems this is a bargain compared to the online prices quoted as £4 plus. Having said that, it does seem a bit difficult to get hold of this particular one now but there are others from the same company going big on the whitening effects and gum sensitivity and breath confidence so maybe they have moved on from the boring issue of sensitive teeth.
Why this one?
I have noticed my teeth are getting sensitive as I get on in age. I thought I'd try this product to see if it worked. Any improvement in colour to obtaining something near white would also be a bonus as I am disappointed with my teeth not being sparkly white and would like them to be (please). I was also curious about the BH brand as they always ran competitions in women's magazines in the past to win a luxury bathrobe and year's supply of products which I always wanted to win. I tried and failed on this account.
The toothpaste packaging says this brand provides the following advantages:
* Low abrasion
* Whiter teeth in 1 minute
* Fights cavities
* Prevents plaque and tartar build up
* Advanced cleaning
* Fresher breath
I am sorry to say that if anything since using a whole tube of this toothpaste my teeth feel like they have got worse as it has started to get sensitive on the other side of my mouth now too despite a trip to the dentist included. On the whiteness side I am equally disappointed with no visible improvement despite a dedicated twice a day brushing effect.
I will be glad to return to my normal brand. Whilst the taste of this toothpaste wasn't unpleasant, it just didn't feel 'right' after years on colgate! It was kind of on the higher end of mild and spearmint in flavour. Like when you eat a piece of chewing gum that's not your usual flavour (if you're a chewer).
I won't be returning to this brand, never mind if it's a bargain. I've tried it now and I know it's not for me.
When it comes to toothpaste, I am not loyal to any particular brand. I always pick up whichever paste is on special offer from a number of brands that I have tried before and been pleased with, including Colgate, Macleans, and Arm & Hammer. However when I popped in to Superdrug to purchase some toothpaste, this Beverly Hills Formula caught my eye. I think they were either discontinuing this from my local store, or perhaps they were changing the packaging. In any case, it was reduced to just 89p for a large 125ml tube. Looking online, this now seems to retail for £3.79 at Superdrug, so I was lucky to get such a sizeable reduction. Although I hadn't tried the brand before I thought I would give it a go given the tiny price tag, and bought several tubes to make the most of the savings!
I suffer from sensitive teeth. I love ice cream and ice lollies but now rarely have them as it causes me so much pain that it takes away all pleasure from eating these foods. So I was very excited to try this sensitive toothpaste- anything that could reunite me with my love for ice cream had to be worth a go! In additional, it describes itself as a whitening toothpaste. I am always eager to try anything that will whiten my teeth. My partner has sparkly white teeth naturally, and mine always look yellowy in comparison so I am on the hunt for effective whitening products as I don't want yellow yeeth in our wedding photos!
The toothpaste comes packaged in a cardboard box, with a squeezy tube inside. This lid is a screw on detatchable one, so make sure you don't lose it! The paste is easy to apply to my brush, and it is easy to get the desired amount, so there is no wasteage. The taste of the paste is pleasantly minty- certainly in no way offensive.
However having now used two full tubes I am pretty disappointed with this paste. It cleans my teeth effectively- I had a check up at my dentist last week and he was very happy with my brushing- and so as a basic paste I guess this product is fine. However the sensitivity has not improved whatsoever. I was very eager to try some ice cream recently to see if the pain associated with cold foods had eased, however was bitterly disappointed as it was still as painful as it had been before I began using this paste. I ended up having to give my ice cream to my partner after a couple of spoonfuls, as my teeth were so sensitive that I couldn't face eating the rest of it.
In addition, my teeth are definitely no whiter than there were originally. The box suggests applying the paste to your teeth and leaving it on for a few minutes for an instant whitening boost. I have tried this on several occasions and it has had no effect whatsoever, which is extremely disappointing.
In summary, this performs well as a basic toothpaste. It cleans my teeth effectively, removes plaque and freshens my breath. However this paste is marketed as a sensitive whitening paste, and the product has failed at both of these functions. I therefore cannot recommend this product on this basis, as it seriously failed to live up to my expectations. At 89p it wasn't too much of a let down, but I would be furious if I had paid £3.79 for this as it simply didn't do what it clained to do on the package. I certainly don't believe that the glamourous people in Beverly Hills use this paste to get their teeth sparkly white! I would suggest this is one to avoid unless you see it for less than a quid in a bargain bin!
Whilst, staying with my aunt over the holidays I unfortunately forgot my toothpaste. Scanning her shelves I noticed this product with its fabulous bold writing- separating it from the others. I was mildly intrigued by its claims of outdoing the leading competitor, or something to that effect; as soon as I arrived home I purchased a tube to try it out in the long term. It costs £2.99 in tesco, and rarely is it ever on offer; it's about the same price as its competitors, but in my opinion it has no competition.
Appearance & packaging:
The packaging is very American and Spangled, a sharp attractive font on a white and grey canvas with a star or two here and there. Nothing too eye-catching, as most whitening toothpastes in general go for a similar theme. It tells you the product is for sensitive teeth in bold big letters, simple and to the point.
The claims & my own experiences:
It claims to whiten your teeth would you believe. Now I have to say before this toothpaste I really didn't believe in the whole tooth whitening toothpaste craze, there's always a new one, with bigger and bolder claims than the last... You know what I'm talking about right? We've seen all the adverts, and tried most of them to no avail. But this tooth paste really does whiten to a noticeable extent (of course I'm sure it's no substitute for some veneers). In fact, it's the only toothpaste I've seen any results from.
In terms of sensitivity reduction, it does a fairly good job. Not as good as sensodyne in this respect, but it does whiten much better- so you have a trade off there. Both hot and cold sensations are greatly reduced; I was eating some ice cream the other day and didn't even notice anything, whereas usually there's a sharp pain.
It whitens, it reduces sensitivity, its non-abrasive, its 'natural', and it's my can't-do-without toothpaste. You definitely have to try this one in my opinion, you probably won't look back once you have.
There seemed to be quite a fuss made about this fantastic toothpast that is Beverly Hills Formula and it claimed to be a little miracle worker so i had to try it out. I'm obsessed with the idea of getting my teeth as white and clean as i can and i've even considered having proper teeth whitening treatment at a salon but it's very expensive, so i wanted to try out every other at home option first to see if i could get any impressive results from them.
The first thing i noticed about the toothpaste was the horrible taste it had in my mouth, it tasted very salty and not very minty at all, it just made brushing my teeth really unpleasant and didn't make my mouth or teeth feel fresh at all. I much prefer a minty fresh taste in my mouth when i'm brushing my teeth. But i told myself that maybe i had to bare a horrible tasting toothpaste in order to geat great cleaning results, but i was disappointed with the results. I brushed twice i day with this toothpaste for a few weeks then i just gave up with it because it wasn't having any better effect on my teeth than any other cheap toothpaste company and i was sick of having such an awful after taste in my mouth after every time i brushed.
After using this toothpaste i can safely say my teeth are no whiter or cleaner than they would be if i was brushing them with any other brand of toothpaste. Some chemist and stores charge around £4 for it as well so it's definetly not worth it.
I have been using Beverly Hills Sensitive Toothpaste for approximately the last two years now. I think more than anything I am hoping that my teeth will be whiter like it claims to do. They claim that this is a whitening toothpaste which removes 90% of tooth staining. However, I have yet to see the benefits of this. The toothpaste on the whole is a good one, it cleans your teeth and leaves your breath smelling fresh and since using it I have never had any dental problems when I have visited the dentist.
This is a sensitive toothpaste and it is suitable for people who suffer with gum disease. I have sensitive teeth and I have not had any bleeding whilst using this toothpaste. Another advantage to using this toothpaste is its price, it is just as cheap if not cheaper than all the top brands. You will normally pay about £2.50 for a tube. Whether or not it does whiten your teeth though, remains to be seen. I doubt that any of the whitening toothpastes actually make a noticeable difference.
- Beverly Hills Formula - Sensitive - Natural White Maximum Strength -
Beverly Hills Formula is whitening toothpaste which claims to remove 90% of tooth staining. Being a sensitive toothpaste it is suitable for people who suffer with teeth and gums which are prone to tingling, pain and soreness which would suffer from a stronger blend of toothpaste. The makers claim the toothpaste to be 'Sensitive' along with Maximum strength. Presumably the 'Maximum Strength' is describing the cleaning and whitening effect that you can attain from using Beverly Hills Formula Sensitive on a regular basis. -
The product is contained within an eye-catching large size, silver and white box, which stands out amongst the many other brands of toothpastes for sale upon the shelves. It states that this formula is 'Low Abrasion' and will give the teeth a 'Natural White' effect; claiming to be extra gentle whilst effectively protecting against tartar build-up. It will also give the mouth a fresher breath after using.
Beverly Hills Formula offers a fast acting cleansing and long lasting guard for sensitive teeth. Its promised whitening properties can be noticed after using the toothpaste for just a few days. The effect is very gradual, but if brushing your teeth with Beverly Hills Formula, day and night you should notice that your teeth are considerably whiter after about three days; I did.
Its extra gentle formula doesn't leave that sharp, burning sensation within the mouth that you can experience with full strength toothpaste. The taste of the Beverly Hills toothpaste is of a spearmint flavour. It smells like peppermint but tastes of spearmint; which I like. I don't like a strong tasting toothpaste that leaves a sharp after taste. So this suits me fine. It also promises complete protection against plaque and tartar build up.
The actual toothpaste is not as thick a consistency as some of the other brands of toothpaste. But it seems to do a good job of cleaning the teeth just fine. The after taste is of a pleasant spearmint flavour and the teeth feel well cleaned. You do not need a huge amount of the toothpaste, covering about half the length of the toothbrush is sufficient to ensure thorough cleaning. I have experienced no tingling or sensitivity to my teeth or gums when using the Beverly Hills Formula. It really is quite a mild strength which does deliver effective cleaning.
The tube I purchased is quite large, being 125ml/165g and once opened it should be used within 12 months. The price was just over £2.00 from Tesco, which is an excellent price considering a tube of Rembrandt whitening toothpaste will set you back nearly £8.00. Rembrandt is an excellent whitener but given the price difference, I feel that Beverly Hills is a far better deal.
The toothpaste's formula is gentle on the enamel of the teeth and it contains ingredients which relieve the discomfort of tooth and gum pain sensitivity. It also is an effective deterrent to plaque and tartar build up to the teeth. It is gentle formula also which whitens the teeth well without any abrasive qualities within the toothpaste and it also leaves your breath fresh and your teeth feeling thoroughly cleaned.
- Ingredients -
Aqua - Sorbitol - Hydrated Silica - Xylitol - Potassium - Citrate - Glycerin - Pentasodium - Triphosphate - Sodium Bicarbinate - Sodium Laurel Sulfate - Aroma - Cellulose Gum - Sodium Monofluorophosphate - Sodium Saccharin - Limocene - CI 77891.
The box carries a guarantee. So if you are not satisfied with the product for some reason, you will receive a full purchase price refund; can't say fairer than that.
- Summary -
Beverly Hills Formula is a very good whitening and cleaning sensitive formula toothpaste. I saw results on the whiteness of my teeth after just a few days and noticed my gums were pinker also. I love the flavour of the toothpaste and I found the spearmint taste quite pleasant. It is also gentle enough to be be used every day. The price was very good at just over £2 for a large tube. I would also recommend this toothpaste to smokers as it does remove the staining on the teeth quite well. I would say that Beverly Hills Whitening is an all round excellent product that does what it says on the box. -
Having absolutely no loyalty to any brand of toothpaste, and because I usually forget to buy it during my "big" shop, I tend to buy whatever is available in my small local store. This was purchased a couple of weeks ago, because himself likes to have these so called whitening toothpastes, and so far I have been quite pleased with it
WHAT IS IT?
Basically, it's a normal toothpaste which claims to have an elusive an never disclosed combination of anti bacterial agents and anti stain polishers. Combine these with low abrasion and teeth will be cleaned and strengthened. It is apparently proven to remove tooth staining and offers maximum whitening power, which will lead to stronger brighter teeth!
PRODUCT AND PACKAGING
Given that it has all of these claims, I expected some wonder packaging, but it looks just like a regular everyday toothpaste- no special packaging, just a normal toothpaste tube with a screw on/ screw off cap.
The toothpaste itself squeezes out easily an d the white toothpaste has a kind of peppermint smell, which I like. It suggests to me that the mint taste isn't going to be too strong and won't leave a too minty after taste. The taste itself is quite minty and as the smell suggests is almost a peppermint taste, which for me is preferable to the usual mint taste. When teeth are cleaned it does leave quite a minty taste in my mouth, rather like a mouth wash, so my teeth do feel really clean for a while after, and if I do the "squeaky clean" test, yes, they are clean, and all bits of obvious grime are removed.
Because the toothpaste is non abrasive, and clams to have fewer abrasive ingredients than some non whitening toothpastes, it is the kind of toothpaste that can be used every day amd not just weekly like some whitening toothpastes.
PRICE AND AVAILABILITY
The toothpaste is widely available in superlarkets and chemists and costs around £2.40 for 125 ml
Purity Labs, www.puritylabs.co.uk. The website has lots of information about the products and dental care.
OTHER PRODUCTS IN THE RANGE
There are several other products including:
*Natural Toothpaste (I assume this is the non sensitive version)
*Gum strengthening total protection toothpaste
The toothpaste I have been using is the one for sensitive teeth, and it has certainly lived up to its claims of being non abrasive; my gums don't feel as though they have been cut. The toothpaste has a pleasant minty taste and after cleaning my mouth feels fresh and clean. Although I don't notice any stains of himself's teeth, he does like these whitening toothpastes and because I am not bothered I use them as well. I can't with any real conviction state that the toothpaste removes stains but just after cleaning, my teeth really do look white and sparkly. Although it has whitening powers I think that someone wanting teeth whitened would be able to better judge the effect. I didn't notice any real whitening to my teeth, and they certainly haven't gone shades lighter over the last few weeks. However, for an effective, gentle toothpaste which is widely available should I decide to become loyal to a product, I would recommend this one.
Thanks for reading.
Beverly Hills Formula ~ Toothpaste For Sensitive Teeth And Gums
For the past six months or so I have been using Beverly Hills formula toothpaste for sensitive teeth and gums twice a day. Before I started using Beverly Hills Formula I was using a whitening toothpaste by Arm and Hammer; despite regularly brushing and flossing my teeth I started to suffer from bleeding gums and sensitive teeth. I tried a lot of different tooth pastes and mouth washes specifically designed for people who are suffering with sensitive teeth and gums, but none of them really helped, one toothpaste in particular actually made the condition worse. It wasn't until one day when I was shopping in Superdrug that I noticed Beverly Hills Formula for sensitive teeth and gums. Admittedly I wasn't going to purchase the toothpaste at first, but then I noticed that the toothpaste not only helped with sensitive teeth and gums but it also helped whiten your teeth at the same time.
A lot of people suffer from sensitive teeth and gums and some times the foods which we eat can irritate the condition and make it worse. Sensitive teeth and gums are caused when the gum line recedes and the dentine or root of your tooth/teeth are exposed. Some things which particularly irritate and make the condition worse are hot and/or cold foods/drinks, sweet foods and acidity; sometimes even brushing your teeth and using mouthwash can even cause discomfort; I noticed that my teeth were a lot more sensitive when I was brushing and using mouthwash and eating ice cream, although I didn't really have any problems when I was drinking or eating anything hot. Other things which can cause sensitive teeth are : Vigorously brushing your teeth with a hard bristled toothbrush, grinding your teeth and exposing the enamel, tooth decay and using an abrasive tooth whitening kit or toothpaste. There are lots of things which cause sensitive teeth but the best and most common way to treat it is to use a toothpaste specifically designed for sensitive teeth. The active ingredient in Beverly Hills Formula toothpaste which helps sensitive teeth is Potassium Citrate, because it offers fast acting, long lasting protection of used twice per day.
The packaging for the toothpaste is a little over the top in my opinion because the box which the toothpaste is supplied in is overloaded with writing and information and about 50% of this is inappropriate because it states four times on the box that the toothpaste is Sensitive maximum Strength and Whitens teeth. I think that there is just too much details on the box particularly for a toothpaste. Inside the box we are presented with a large white coloured tube of toothpaste, similar to any other toothpaste you would purchase the only difference being the Beverly Hills logo and lots of information and details printed onto the tube.
As soon as you unscrew the lid off the tube of toothpaste you can immediately smell a fresh mint aroma which is not at all strong or overpowering. I was actually quite surprised with the colour and appearance of the toothpaste because it is bright white in colour and has a really smooth and shiny appearance. The consistency of the toothpaste is rather thick and creamy in appearance and looks a lot thicker than Colgate or Arm and Hammer toothpaste. As the box and tube of toothpaste was overloaded with information there weren't actually any directions on how to use this toothpaste, so I just used a pea sized amount on my toothbrush like I would do with another toothpaste, if I felt the need to use some more toothpaste I could. As I started brushing my teeth in my usual way I could feel a slight tingly sensation on my gums and tongue, which was more and likely the mint taste from the toothpaste. The toothpaste has a really fresh mint taste which is slightly creamy as well; it also produces an awful lot of white foam and froth when brushing and when you have finished brushing your teeth the froth remains a bright white colour.
After fully brishing my teeth my mouth, teeth and gums felt really clean and had a slight tingly sensation. The tingly sensation in my mouth only lasted for approximately fifteen minutes before it subsided. The taste of the toothpaste lingeres in your mouth for a few hours giving you confidence that your breath is fresh. The first time I used the toothpaste I noticed a huge omprovement in the colour of my teeth, they were a lot whiter then before and has a really smooth feel when I ran my tongue across them. The smooth feeling on my teeth feels really similar to the way your teeth feel when you have had them polished at the dentists, and the smooth polished feel lasts all through the day untill I brush my teeth at night time.
After about 4 weeks of twice per day continued use of Beverly Hills Formula the colour of my teeth had changed dramatically, they are noiw really bright white. My teeth weren't really discoloured when I first started using the toothpaste, they were white just not as white as I would habe liked them to be.
As for my sensitive teeth issue, I noticed that it only took a week or so for the problem to go away, and since then I have been using this toothpaste twice per day and never had the problem reoccur.
The toothpaste lives up to its claims and isn't just smoother toothpaste on the matket which claims to be better than all the rest. Beverly Hills Formual claims to ~
Clean Your teeth and safely and gently remove stains without using harsh abrasives or bleach
Polish and brighten your teeth
Help strengthen and re mineralise tooth enamel because of the Flouride
Freshens your breath
Contains Xylitol which helps fight plaque, bad breath, gum disease and tooth decay
I think that all of the above statements are 100% true because the toothpaste really does so what it claims to do. Iit has gave me brighter whiter teeth, cured sensitive teeth, tastes nice and gives me fresh breath confidence. At £3 per 125ml tube it is a really good toothpaste to invest in, a 125ml tube lasts me approximately 4 months and that is me brushing my teeth up to three times per day. On the back of the toothpaste box it says that if you want to accelerate the whitening process you can smear some of the toothpaste onto your teeth and leave it there for 1-2 minutes before brushing off; I havent however tried this and don't know how effective it is or isn't at accelerating the whitening process
Ther is a safety warning on the tube of toothpaste which states that children under the age of twelve shouldn't be allowed to use the toothpaste unsupervised; I wouldn't however allow my children to use the toothpaste because the mint taste may be too overpowering and strong for them, and children under 12 shouldn't need to use a whitening toothpaste anyway. The toothpaste is suitable for vegetarians to use because it doesn't contain any animal products and the toothpaste isn't tested on animals.
For more information on Beverly Hills Formula toothpaste or any of the other toothpastes in this range the this can be found on the website which is http://www.puritylabs.co.uk
I am really happy with this toothpaste and I will continue to use it every day because I think it is probably one of the best toothpastes I have ever bought. I think its great because it not only helps people with sensitive teeth but it also whitens and polishes your teeth without any bleach or harsh abrasives. I highly recommend this toothpaste.

Gum disease is the most common dental problem that will occur in almost over 50% of the adult population age 35+, with 9 out of 10 people developing gum disease at some point in their lives. The cause is plaque, a sticky film of bacteria that forms on teeth and adheres to the gums, eventually turning to tartar, causing inflammation, irritation and swelling, all signs of the first stages of gingivitis. In order to prevent gum disease by controlling the amount of plaque that builds up on your teeth, Purity Laboratories have introduced their Beverly Hills Formula Gum Strengthening toothpaste. This new toothpaste boasts a gum protection system, with vitamin E to invigorate and strengthen the gums, plus fluoride to protect against the exposed root area. Beverly Hills Formula Gum Strengthening toothpaste contains ingredients such as Permethol which helps to reduce and stop bleeding gums, whilst Panthenol, Q10, Vitamin E and Folic Acid promote healthy growth of the gum tissues.
HEALTHIER GUMS - Contains Permethol which helps to reduce and stop the bleeding of the gums, plus Co-enzyme Q10, Folic Acid, Vitamin E and Panthenol, to help nourish and strengthen the gum tissue.
ANTI-PLAQUE - Helps fight plaque a cause of TARTAR
STRONGER ENAMEL - Contains Xylitol and Fluoride, agents proven to help strengthen, remineralise and harden tooth enamel for cavity protection.
WHITER TEETH - Cleans and safely removes stains and films without bleaching.
LOW ABRASION - Laboratory studies prove that the Gum Strengthening formula is less abrasive than other leading brands of both whitening and regular toothpaste
TOTAL PROTECTION - Contains Xylitol, a clinically proven agent that helps fight plaque, a cause of gum disease, tooth decay and bad breath.
GREAT TASTE - The long-lasting mint flavour freshens your breath every time you brush
In my bid to get a brighter whiter smile, I decided to try a whitening toothpaste instead of my usual toothpaste.
I've always seen the Beverly Hills Formula toothpastes advertised but I've never tried them as I thought they were really expensive.
In my local tesco I found a 125ml tube for £2.00. This price definitely persuaded me to try it for the first time, I decided to try the Gum sensitive one has I have trouble with my Gum's.
I tend to stick to my regular toothpaste of Mentadent P as this really helps with my Gum's, Normally if I try a new toothpaste after about two weeks I normally have to go back as my gum's seem to start to really hurt.
After using my new Beverly Hills Formula for the first time my teeth and gums felt really clean and fresh for a good few hour afterwards, most of the time I'm left with a bit of an after taste after about ten mins or my teeth just don't feel that clean.
I like the fact the mint taste isn't too overpowering as I don't really like that.
After 3 days unfortunately I've had to stop using this as it seems to be reacting in my mouth casing my skin to really sting and look red, I think my teeth have whitened slightly so I'm sure if I could have carried on using it I would have got a nice white smile.
forget that beverly hills rubbish, just try Rembrant toothpaste. its very expensive at about £8. a tube. but its worth it. i reccomend it to everyone.gets rid of every stain on your teeth - my friend is a heavy smoker and heavy drinker, and was considering teeth bleaching at the dentist until i told her about this toothpaste. - she bought it - under pressure from me - because she really didnt believe it would work. but it has - she now has perfectly white teeth.
i know its expensive, but you dont have to use it all the time, once youve got your teeth white - about 2 weeks - them just use it about once a week.
Beverly Hills Formula Toothpaste For Sensitive Teeth And Gums
Mint, Mint, Mint I really just cant get enough. This pregnancy has been somewhat of a minty explosion. At first I was polishing off milk like there was no tomorrow but now the thing is for me to be eating mints and cleaning my teeth several times a day. I am a big fan of minty toothpastes and ones that whiten and clean well are always top of my list. This Beverly Hills toothpaste is a fantastic purchase and one that I have always been pleased to use.
This particular toothpaste is said to remove up to 90% of stains and discolouring of the teeth and I do believe that that claim really is valid. Many stars are said to use this one and I have often seen advertisements in magazines for it so I am presuming that it is a good seller on the market.
Compared to other brands it may actually be a little on the high side where the price is concerned and for a tube you are looking at paying just under £4 at £3.95 pence. This gives you a large sized tube, which contains 125ml so in fact it is larger than a lot of toothpastes that are also on the shelves. This particular size tube seems to last for a good while and for both me and my boyfriend using it twice if not more times per day we will go through a tube in around a month which I feel is a good amount of time.
The toothpaste is a brilliant white colour and looks just like any other toothpaste you may use. The downside is that the lid of this toothpaste tube has a screw top lid and with wet hands and early in the morning the last thing you want to do it be farting about trying to put the lid onto the right threads of the tube. This really needs to be redesigned. The colourings of the toothpaste tube itself is quite a trendy silver and white design this looks pretty flash in the bathroom and does seem far more of a superior design to the other brands available.
On putting a little bit of the paste onto my toothbrush head, about a pea sized shape as always advised by dentists, I can smell the minty freshness coming from the paste and know Im in for a good blasting of freshness. The taste of the mint is not that overpowering as one would think whitening toothpaste would be. The minty taste is nice and mild but enough to give your breath that freshness that it needs in the morning. The paste glides easily over the teeth and foams up just the right amount to work all over every tooth but not too much so that you look like a rabid dog. The paste is smooth in texture and has no grit particles in like some other whitening pastes so often have.
After giving my teeth the full two minutes brushing with the toothpaste and a good rinse out the taste of the minty Beverly Hills toothpaste still lingers on both my breath and my tongue (I always make sure I brush my tongue as this will harbour the most bacteria). The mint taste really does stay for a good amount of time after brushing and gives great breath freshness.
My teeth after use for a while did appear to look better and I continue to use this toothpaste even now months after first trying it. The whitening claim really does seem to work and my teeth are always looking like pearls in my mouth. I do think that the continued use of this paste works wonders and I will keep using this I think until I decide to try something else. The only thing I worry is that after stopping using this that the copious amounts of tea that I drink will of course start taking its toll if the toothpaste I use is not up to scratch.
The paste truly does work well and I can see now why celebrities are said to use it. The claim that it removes 90% of stains I feel is true and therefore paying the rather over inflated price that this past is on the market for I think is fairly reasonable. They do say you get what you pay for!
Cleans and safely removes stains and film from your teeth without harsh abrasives or bleach /
