Colgate Regular Flavoured Toothpaste
Member Name: scobeyjohnson
Advantages: Great price and it leaves my teeth clean and my breath fresh
Disadvantages: I won't know if it fights cavities until I go to the dentist
Colgate Regular Flavoured Toothpaste with Cavity Protection is a reasonably priced product considering Colgate is a very famous trusted brand when it comes to dental hygiene. For a 100ml tube the cost is currently 99 pence on the Tesco website which probably lasts me roughly for a month. The price is very good value considering some of the prices you are often asked to pay for a branded toothpaste from a well known manufacturer including Colgate who produces this one.
The tube is packaged in a cardboard box which is red and blue with the recognisable logo of the Colgate Company. This can obviously be recycled and inside you will find the tube with a flip top lid which is easy to open and after you finish with it I recommend you clean it off otherwise it can be increasingly difficult to extract the toothpaste as the residue from previous uses dries and blocks it.
The paste has a mint taste which is pleasant not really strong like a product from Sensodyne for example. It really does in my experience help to freshen my breath and my teeth do feel cleaner after using this morning and night. Apparently this also fights cavities on teeth and roots and its active fluoride formula with calcium strengthens teeth although this is hard to judge without a trip to the dentist or suddenly realising it hasn't done this because my teeth hurt and obviously I have cavities.
When I use this I just squeeze a small pea sized amount on to my brush, more than that I understand is a waste. For the price I think this Colgate product is tremendous, it appears my teeth are clean afterwards and my breath is very importantly refreshed. When you pay more for dental products such as three pounds for a tube of toothpaste it often is because it claims to whiten your teeth but in my experience these are not that successful and if you want to really whiten or clean your teeth you need to go the dentist for a polish. This Colgate variety in my opinion is just as good as the more fanciful types as it leaves my teeth feeling clean and my breath fresh, what more can I ask for.
Summary: For the price of this you can keep your micro cleaning crystals
