Colgate ZigZag Plus Toothbrush
Advantages: easy to hold and direct
Disadvantages: not so firm
I just got myself a new toothbrush the other day, but was going to pay a lot for one in Tesco when I came across some amazing deals in Home Bargains for a fraction of the price. I never have a particular type of brush in mind but I do like to get one that isn't completely flat as I feel it seems to get deeper into the teeth. There were quite a couple of options to choose from but in the end I opted for this ZigZag Plus toothbrush as it seemed to be the best one for me.
The brush has a really nice appearance to it and comes in quite a wide range of different colours. Of course, being a girl, I had to pick the bright pink toothbrush as it was my favourite out of blue and red but atleast theres variety. It thickens at the the end of the brush handle for a better grip and it has a few ridges. The brush head is zig zag edged and it has a few different colours of bristle to create a certain look to it. On the handle it also has the Colgate logo as well as the colour following it through.

Now, the main things that this brush is trying to achieve is to be really effective at cleaning. The zig zag angled bristles are designed to reach deep between teeth to really clean. They work to reach back teeth and reach areas a lot easier. The handle is then designed with a grip and a flexible neck so that it adds comfort and control while brushing. Another bonus to this brush is also the fact that it has been recommended by dentists and hygenists.
In terms of using the actual brush, I just put some toothpaste on the head which is quite narrow. I then run my brush under water and begin to brush. I was quite shocked when brushing with this brush as the head was a lot softer and more flexible than I had expected it to be as I normally use a lot firmer brush. However, I wasn't judging it by this factor as in terms of cleaning I could really feel the angled bristles getting into all of the hard to reach places.
The brush is easy to hold with the grip on the handle as it just gets a firmer hold and the flexible head sort of bends with every move to make sure you can really direct your brush to the best. I was very happy with using it and it is also very light in weight. Once I had finished my brushing, I rinsed my brush and mouth and after now using this for a week I am pleased with the results. I feel my teeth are looking a lot cleaner and it hasn't missed many places.
I have smoother feeling teeth and I am continuing to keep using this brush due to my very good results. I'd recommend this brush completely as for the price you get a trustworthy brand and you get a brush that reaches all angles to clean effectively and thoroughly. You get a choice of colours on your brush and really what more can you want? It'll last the standard time a brush lasts but for the price it is cheap enough to replace it.
So, as I said before, I purchased my Colgate Zig Zag Plus toothbrush from Home Bargains for the small price of 49p for one brush. However for a pack of 3 it is just 89p or something like that if you are buying for a family but I was happy to try the one first.
