I use both a manual toothbrush and also an electric toothbrush. Sometimes I prefer to use the manual one if I have a headache, as I find the buzzing in my mouth can actually make the pain worse.
My favourite (or one of them) type of brush in my opinion, is the Oral B Advantage Plus Toothbrush -mine has medium bristles which I personally like as I do not like them too soft or indeed too hard. It is very well packaged in the cardboard and plastic container and getting it out can be a bit of a nightmare to be honest. It cost me just £1 from Poundland.
The head of the brush is nice and long and the bit I particularly like for getting my teeth clean right at the back, is the fact that the bristles are higher at the top of the brush and this allows for a much better clean. The bristles are in two colours - white and blue and the colour will not fade even after a lot of brushes.
It has a good long handle which allows you to get right at the back of the mouth and the handle also has useful grooves which helps you to hold it more firmly and allows you to move the brush around inside of your mouth better too.
This also has a tongue cleaner on the back. I have tried to use this on a couple of occasions but to be honest I cannot get away with it because as soon as I start to use it I start to gag and then feel sick.
A great toothbrush by a brand I know well and trust. Recommended.
