Advantages: Helps clear up ulcers and infections
Disadvantages: Costs quite a lot - Doesn't taste too good.
Oraldene is an antibacterial mouthwash, you can buy it from most supermarkets as well as the chemist. I use it because I get quite a lot of mouth ulcers from time to time and Oraldene certainly helps ease the discomfort and helps clear them up quite quickly too.
It can be used as an ordinary mouthwash, (but it is a lot more expensive than an ordinary mouthwash) probably because of all the other uses it has. It gets rid of bad breath can be used to help ease sore or bleeding gums, mouth ulcers, infections, and you can also gargle with it to relieve throat infections.
It can be used by adults and by children over six years of age, if you have an infection you take it two or three times a day. Unlike most other products of this nature it doesn't have a fresh minty taste, it leaves your mouth fresh, but it doesn't have the most pleasant of tastes. It tastes like a medicine - if that makes sense?
The bottle will last a week if you are using it to help clear an infection , or between two to three weeks if you are using it as a normal mouthwash.I.ve found it is better than most other mouthwashes I've tried ,but it is also about double the price - so I suppose you get what you pay for.
