I have used this brand myself before and have always personally been very pleased with the results it gives. We used small pea sized amount on his brush as the pack suggested. He seemed to like the taste as it wasn't too strong for him. If it's too minty then he just refuses to brush his teeth. This seemed nice and mild and it also had a lovely minty smell and i tried it myself and was pleasantly surprised with it. We ar...more

Sensodyne Pronamel for Children is a fairly new toothpaste on the market designed specifically for kids. I was initially attracted to this product because it promised to help with acid erosion in childrens teeth which can make them more prone to cavities and tooth decay. Our son drinks a lot of fruit juices and fizzy drinks and I was concernd about this and thought this toothpaste would help prevent acid erosion, which is a big worry for us. The paste cost £2 for a 50ml tube and we bought it in Tesco. I have used this brand myself before and have always personally been very pleased with the results it gives. I always encourage my children to eat and drink the right foods, get their 5 per day, take in a good amount of excercise and generally maintain a healthy lifestyle. When it comes to their oral care, there is no exception and I'm always on the look out for good quality products. I have sensitive teeth and I now know that this is due to lack of tooth enamel through acid erosion. Basically acid erosion is caused by the acids found in everyday food such as fruit, wine (not really a problem for children!) and fruit juices. Now that my daugher has a lot of her 'big' teeth, I want to try to avoid acid erosion as much as possible. I use the adult version of ...  Read the complete review

As I have said in a previous review I have no enamel on my teeth so had a lot of problems growing up and many trips to the dentist. As a result of this I ma always on the look out for new toothpastes for my boys to use so they don't have problems like me. This was my latest find, it is a new one by Sensodyne and is designed especially for children aged 6-12 years. ~~THE TUBE~~ The toothpaste comes in a white tube which has a big chunky blue cap. The cap is useful to stand the toothpaste up with. On the front of the tube is a small blue circle which contains a funny tooth man picture, the product name is in blue and green lettering. On the back of ...  Read the complete review

Sensodyne pro enamel for children I have never had any problems getting Little Miss to clean her teeth, but because she still has a mixture of big and baby teeth I do like to get her to use toothpastes specially formulated for children's teeth. **What Does it do?** The toothpaste promises to help to protect against acid erosion and tooth decay. Apparently dentists are concerned about the acid erosion caused by fruits, juices and soft drinks, because these acids soften the enamel and it can then be slowly worn away. Children get new teeth between the ages of 6-13 years and these teeth are vulnerable to attack. This toothpaste is specially ...  Read the complete review

My sons permanent teeth starts coming out now, and most of his baby tooth are almost gone. I thought that it's the best time to find the right toothpaste appropriate for his age. We recently had the chance to try Sensodyne Pronamel for Children which was specifically created for kids and has been proven to re-harden tooth enamel to help protect against acid. I actually used the pronamel for adults which I already reviewed so I know this one would be the best choice for him to use regularly. Sensodyne ProNamel for Children is the first children's toothpaste scientifically proven to re-harden tooth enamel, helping to protect against acid erosion as well as ...  Read the complete review
